Pearls Moving

First off, they stole my credit card information. Let me say that upfront so if you don’t read the whole review, you know right away not to use them.
I had them load 2 ubox pods from Uhaul. They were efficient but they loaded everything poorly. When I reviewed my stuff, half of my bins were crushed because they put heavier bins on top of lighter ones. I have some broken dishes, glasses etc. When moving my dresser they also broke part of the wood paneling off.
But the biggest kicker was the credit card. Here’s what happened. After they were done loading, try said I needed to pay an extra hour because they were there longer than 2 hours. I said fine. They could only take my credit card info over the phone. Once they took it, one of the two movers called the owner back and then magically I didn’t have to pay for the extra hour anymore. I didn’t think anything of it until a few days later charged started showing up on my card in the DFW area. I barely use the card I paid with. It was obvious they had written down the card information and then used it to but things. Do not use them. Just not worth the risk.

To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. I hired just moving help from Pearls Moving through
and paid upfront. When the moving help arrived, they told me that there would be additional charges for the move. When I told them that my agreement clearly stated a price for 2 people for 2 hours and any time over that would be $ 35/​hour they told me to call their office. I spoke with Nancy in their office and she tired to be as helpful as possible. She said she would contact the owner and get things straightened out. While on the phone with her, one of the moving help called the owner, Kevin. Kevin said I could pay the extra amount (and that any time over the 2 hours would be $ 50/​hour and not $ 35) or they were leaving. I told him they could leave. I am still waiting on my refund…
