I am reaching and giving Pat’s and Mike’s 3 Stars… Just for the cheese fries. If it had not been for the cheese fries, it may have gotten 2 Stars. My boyfriend and I got The Classic Cheese Fries… They were wonderful… We agreed we would return for them and perhaps a beer. I have heard good things about the pizza; I may give it a try next time. We both got burgers. They were too salty and drowning in mustard. I would take a fast food burger over the Bacon Cheeseburger and Chili Cheddar Burger we got. The establishment was very slow(only 4 other tables occupied), our waitress was busy cleaning tables(A+ for Cleanliness!), and we didn’t get a refill on water until our check was settled(after our food was delivered, she never checked on us to see if we needed anything). While she was friendly, I expect better service; especially when it is not busy at all. The atmosphere is great if you are looking for a classic sports bar feel.

As other Unilocalers have mentioned, the food was not super amazing, my mushroom mushburger was a B. What will keep me coming back is the customer service. Everyone was super friendly, checked up on us, kept the drinks coming. That’s all I ask during football season. I’ll be back!

I was craving a burger after a long night in Chicago and decided to pop in Pat’s and Mike’s on the way home. I ordered the quarter pound bacon cheeseburger with everything on it. I like to try burgers classically(minus the bacon) the first time I try places. The burger was perfectly cooked to a mid rare and I devoured it! The fries on the other hand weren’t my favorite. I love that they were homemade but I wanted them to be crisper on the outside and soft and creamy in the the middle.

Was searching online to find it back in October finally found it. Been going to the previous one for nearly 20 years! Tried a bit of everything, cheesy fries with green onions bacon and jalapeños the«cheesy fries«were better because the bowl had foil. Next time I want to try it out with brisket chili on the cheesy fries or regular brisket. got to try the Pizza with brisket and other things it was pretty good. Wanted to try the brisket so I got the brisket quesadillas’. tried the regular cheese burger it was good, the ranch could be improved a little. also want to try the stuffed jalapenos next time. But overall the food was good. The patio outside looks good can’t wait till spring to sit at the patio when its warmer out. The inside looks great and neat inside. «as for some of the other reviews people with less then 5 reviews on Unilocal must have never had a hamburger before» it was really good. Try the pablano pepper burger.

Awesome place and food and usually I don’t give 5 stars because there is always room somewhere for improvement but owner Pat Snuffer made it worth 5 big stars.

This place is awesome, and even better the people that work there! Shout out to Steve the manager and Riley the bartender. I am new to Dallas and it was the first time I have been in the bar. It’s football Sunday and I’m looking for the Cardinals game. Steve went out of his way to find a place for me playing it. Who does that? I had chicken tenders and fries there. AMAZING! And Riley, what a sweetheart! She is new to Dallas as well and just so friendly. Stop by and see these folks!

Basically this is a sports bar burger joint with a great craft beer selection. The cheese fries are amazing with bacon, chives and jalapeños served with ranch. The burger was tasty. However, the meat was a little fatyt, which is not to my taste. My man loved it. If you get the ¼ pound, because of the fat content of the meat, the meat to bread ratio is off. The beer selection is fabulous, lots of local craft brews. The seating is booths… lots of generous booths. There is nothing fancy about the décor. You can watch about any sports game that is on. Good solid food ina casual atmopshere, no fuss. We will return!

Dang good burger, just like how I remembered the older Snuffers being. The meat was a little bit too salty, but still darn good. Plan on coming back and trying the pizza soon and will do a more in depth review after that visit.

Great queso! Ask for it with the taco meat. Also I don’t know how they make their ranch dressing but it’s some of the best I’ve ever had! Plus a great wait staff. They are very friendly and always have great suggestions. Drinks are fair priced. And food is good quality. Definitely check it out.

Great food and service. Plenty of televisions to watch sports. The staff is extremely pleasant and attentive. The place was bright. Had the cheese fries which were excellent. My wife had the turkey burger and it was moist and delicious. I had the half pound burger medium well and it was prepared perfectly. Good value for your money. We will be back.

So when you go to this place and order a burger it comes with fries. No problem with that. But as we know Snuffer’s is famous for cheese fries so I would assume this place would be as well. But I can’t do any kind of upgrade to have my fries be cheese fries? Seriously? So if I want cheese fries I have to pay the full $ 6(or whatever it is) for fries on top of my other fries I am already getting. This doesn’t sound right. Can’t you charge me $ 2 or something to put cheese and jalapenos on my fries you are already giving me? I didn’t order an extra set of fries out of protest Maybe drop the price of the burger and don’t include any side and have that be a separate purchase. Ok cheese fry rant over. I still think my server was mistaken about that. Ok now it’s over. Burger is pretty good. chicken strips are pretty good. Turkey sandwich not so great. cheese fries? … don’t know if they are any good.

I don’t know but as for me this place wasn’t as great. The food was mediocre but the service was good. I ordered the mushroom burger and sat the bar. You expect to be seated but you have to find your own spot. I sat at the bar and didn’t drink, which was ok to them? The burger was ok but the fries tasted like freeze burned frozen fries. Like it’s been in the freezer way too long. I told them that they tasted weird so the manager offered me another load. The second time around the fries had a less freeze burn taste but still was a bit under cooked. Didn’t feel like complaining again so I didn’t touch the fries. On a Wednesday or Thursday HH they give you a beer glass to take home. Every week is a new beer glass and you don’t pay extra for the glass. Well I might have ordered the wrong food but it wasn’t as great for me.

This place is located right down the street from our house. We’ve been meaning to try it since it opened and now finally have. Upon walking in there’s definitely a heavy sports bar feel. We came in on a Wednesday evening and we were the only people in the restaurant except for the one patron at the bar. For dinner I ordered the blue cheese bacon burger on the gluten free bun and my boyfriend got the brisket nachos. Our waitress told me they cook their burgers medium rare which I love but when it came out it was done medium well. The burger was ok. Good for a bar burger. They skimped a bit on the fries which was a bit depressing because the fries were the best part of our meal. My boyfriends nachos were horrible. I don’t know how it’s possible for brisket to have no flavor but they sure hit the nail on the head. All we tasted was salt and cheese. I would not recommend ordering these. We attempted the mask the flavor with salsa but salty is just not something you can hide. Overall the place is ok, nothing memorable. Service is ok. We had to repeat things to our waitress because she wasn’t quite paying attention. It was as if she would zone off while we were giving our order. The food is a little under average and the atmosphere is like a dead sports bar. I really wanted to like this place because it’s in our neighborhood but it just doesn’t match up to the other places around. Note: their menu says nothing about an up charge for gluten free buns. I expected it to be thrown on our bill which it was, but it would be nice to have forewarning before and have it labeled on the menu.

The infamous cheese fries are always a hit. If you ever want me to like you more, take me here and bribe me with the fries and I’m sure to give in. For bonus points, order more jalapenos as my taste buds doesn’t seem to register anything spicy anymore after years of abuse. I ordered the poblano burger and it was really juicy, even though it was a ¼ lb. The poblano isn’t a spicy pepper but gives the burger a pretty unique flavor.(Great idea: They should stick a chile relleno on a burger!) The meat itself was seasoned well and I would say that it would be a burger that I’d order again. The only thing I didn’t care for is the shredded lettuce. I don’t have a lot of weird food things, but shredded lettuce really grinds my gears. It’s like someone a while back accidentally dropped a head of iceberg lettuce into a paper shredder and instead of removing it, said to himself, «Let’s just see what happens.» And then somehow it became popular and everyone decided to add shredded lettuce to burgers instead of regular normal size lettuce. How many people had trouble eating lettuce before they decided to make a more bite size version of it? Seriously… Who wants a crap ton of tiny pieces of lettuce confetti to fall out after every bite? It’s bad enough my tomato and pickle are sliding around and I have to constantly push it back to the center, but to see the lettuce snowflakes on my plate is just annoying. *gets off soap box* That last rant had nothing to do with Pat’s and Mike’s, just towards lettuce in general. The burger here was great though! And since we did order the cheese fries I decided to get the salad rather than more fries with my burger, thinking it was going to be an actual salad. What came out was some more shredded lettuce and a few chopped tomatoes next to my burger, almost like the garnish that comes with a lot of tex mex plates.

Cheese fries automatically deserves 5 stars! I eat it plain because I believe you shouldn’t add stuff to something that already tastes superb. Although, the brisket and jalapenos were pretty good with the cheese fries. The large fries is PLENTY for 3 – 4 people and the small size is perfect for 2, maybe even 3. If you’re getting a burger, definitely pace yourself because you’ll be full by the time you finish half your meal. Knowing that the burger will be spicy, I ordered the Poblano burger. I enjoy spicy food, but it was a bit too spicy for my taste.(I had to take out a few jalapenos lol) Please note that it comes with mustard and chipotle mayo sauce, which I ordered on the side. It would have been a hot mess if it was all together! Nonetheless, it was a good burger. The grilled chicken sandwich is pretty good too if you’re trying to go healthier. The burgers and sandwiches come with a side of fries or salad, but the fries can’t be the cheese fries(darn!) Other stuff to mention — they have a small bar area where they have audio for whatever is playing on the TVs. They have TVs everywhere so it doesn’t matter where you sit. They have an upstairs area, but I’ve seen a close sign both times. Perhaps when they get busier, they’ll open it up.

If you’re a fan of Snuffers, you’ll be a fan of Pat’s and Mike’s ! A friend treated me to lunch and as we’ve been watching for this new spot to open, I suggested we check it out. Expectations were high and they were definitely met, I note the mixed reviews, my observation would be that any new business always has kinks to work out, and during our visit, everything was a most pleasant experience. The décor has not changed much since the former occupant, Battuto, closed. Dark polished woods, a very nice large bar area, comfy booths as well as table seating. Casual ambiance, but with an upscale feel. We of course opted for one of those nice leather booths to enjoy our visit. 5 stars. Greeted by our friendly and smiling server, Garrett, drinks were promptly delivered; one Pinot Grigio and one Miller Lite. My wine was ice cold and at $ 6 it was a most generous pour in a large glass. Miller Lite was delivered in a frosty glass. Off to an outstanding start. 5 stars ! We started off with an order of onion strips with ranch dipping sauce. This was the only part of the meal that wasn’t quite what I expected. While tasty with added salt, I felt the breading was a little too heavy. My favorites of these are those really thin ones @ Stackhouse, Chili’s and Saltgrass. Perhaps the chef might consider a much lighter coating and not quite so heavy on the flour. But, we did manage to clean the plate! 3 stars here. Ahhh, the Swiss mushroom burger; recalling many good times @ Snuffers. Perfectly cooked medium, nice juicy meat and melted cheese on a soft warm bun. Simply yumalicious with a side of BBQ sauce. It was large enough that ½ traveled home. 4 big stars on this hunk of protein ! Service couldn’t have been better. Garrett was attentive, checking with us for drink refills and making sure we were enjoying our meal. He was even most pleasant when I had to wave him over to clean up the mess I made when I knocked the container of BBQ sauce onto the seat. I am sure I made a grand clumsy first impression. Exemplary service garners a very strong 5 stars! KUDOS to Garrett, a wonderful example of outstanding customer service. We are looking forward to a return visit in the near future. Will have to delve into an order of those infamous cheese fries and the yummy chips and queso. Next time!

This place is across the street from my parents house and we went to check it out. It’s ok. The food is edible. Not a huge menu. I had the chicken tenders. They’re pretty small and the batter was too salty. The fries they came with were limp. My dad had a burger with a teeny tiny salad. With all these new burger places in the neighborhood, I’d probably go somewhere else for a good burger. This location has been through many owners. I hope they expand their menu and start serving better food. I’d love to have a good place to eat in the neighborhood.

My husband and I stopped in for lunch. We started with the cheddar fries. Since Jake’s closed, I have been looking for cheese fries to fill the void in my life. I really like the cheese fries here, the same as Snuffer’s were, with a lot of cheese and good seasoning on them. I highly recommend the fries, but stick with a regular which is more then enough for a few to share if you are getting meals. My husband had a burger which was really salty and a little overcooked. I had the turkey club wrap — which was literally just turkey, cheese and lettuce. It was so bland. It was a good size and I did like that you can get salad instead of fries. Service was slow at best, taking forever to get our check. They also refilled my husbands However, this is the only really good thing about the place. I will likely be back if they get a decent happy hour and a day I can sit on the patio, but really just for a beer and cheddar fries.

Not bad, but not great… Definitely NOT Snuffers. Next time, go to Snuffers. Not trying to be a hater but i will be extremely surprised if this place makes it. Ok, I can sit and type now! So, I got the chicken sandwich… small chicken breast pounded flat and grilled. Cooked well but super thin and really nothing special. My buddy got a burger… he was also unimpressed. Remember that the Original Snuffers has one of THEBEST chicken sandwiches around. One of THEBEST burgers around. And the Cheese fries made the place a legend. Pat and Mike’s is a thinly disguised attempt to copy the place they ran into the ground without infringing on legal requirements. So… seriously. We went to this place to give it a chance and it’s just not very good. The original Snuffers restaurants under Mr. Snuffer’s management was run into the ground. The food lacked quality and in his quest for profits, the old recipes were scrapped for cheaper substitutes. Pat and Mike’s is a duplicate of the failing Snuffer’s model. Now that the real Snuffers is under new management and the food quality and recipes are back on track, do yourself a favor and go to the real Snuffers. There really is no substitute. PS… I’ve been going to Snuffers since I was a kid and know it very very well. That is why I am so critical. Anyway, hope this helps!

When walking in it is very ambiguous if it is a seat yourself or wait to be seated place. Half of the people that came in during our visit were pointed in the general direction of seating others wandered around slightly clueless until they settled on a table. Before our drink orders were taken we were talked into cheesy fries. Drinks were a bit slow as were the talked up cheese fries. About 15 min from order to table. When the fries arrived they were served in a tin foil lined food boat. Im not a fan of metal forks and tin foil together. An over whelming metallic taste persists. The foil also tore and you are left fighting off unwanted foil in each bite. For the main portion of the meal an oder of silders and a regular burger were ordered with side salads. Before our food arrived, a few lost servers came by attemptimg to give us another table’s order. 30 min after the fries arrived, we inquired about the side salads. One salad emerged. We waited. Finally, the missing salad… and our food at the same time. It didnt get better. The sliders were a massive let down. Literally meat on a mini bun. Nothing dressed up, no condiments, no sauce, just dry meat on a bun. They were sloppily thrown on a plate. The manager did bring out red sauce, small redemption. The burger didnt fare much better either. Ordered medium, came out almost well done. No pink at all. The flavor was great, would have loved it cooked to med. Oh and the side salad… iceberg letterce and dressing thats all. PASS. Overall, meh… maybe tru again after they have been open longer and the kinks worked out.
