I went here with my girlfriend for lunch. The location was nice, the restaurant had a nice feel to it. There was people there on their break and other just chilling on their laptops. For parking there’s a parking garage next to the place attached to the apartment that you can park in for free all you need to do is to remember to get your Parking ticket stamped by the bakery. On to the food, we ordered the chicken walnut salad sandwich with the cold pasta salad and cheddar broccoli soup and the Thai chicken spinach wrap. The chicken walnut salad was good. The pasta was okay. the soup was decent would probably have chosen something safer next time. I did not like the Thai chicken spinach wrap was okay. The jasmine rice was a bit undercooked for me. It was cold and hard not exactly how rice ever be in any dish even though wraps are supposed to be cold. Other than the rice aspect the rest of the wrap was good especially the peanut sauce that came with it, you might want to ask for another one if you get a whole wrap. Overall a decent eat the best thing about the place is probably the daily baked fresh cookies and the aroma of it. Oh did I mention you get a chocolate chip cookie with your meal? Yum…

I do not really understand having a business where service is not the first priority. I’ve had a bad experience before and thought I give it another few chances but I think I am done. Walking in, there were only 3 employees… Which I understand because it was 10am on a Saturday but acknowledge me and the 3 other standing in front of you. We even made the effort by saying«ma’am… Can you help us?(Nicely)» and got nothing. She basically just walked past us to deliver a coffee and whatsoever. My view… Say something… We were paying customers but ended leaving and going elsewhere. I don’t like writing bad review because I’m a small business owner myself and have issue with good staff but this was pretty bad. Anyhow… Just my thoughts. This gives you something to think about before trying this place.

Good salad, but today Saturday 9÷15÷15 around 12:45 the lady behind the counter was rude, snobby, and plainly didn’t want to be there, didn’t even say thank you after I ordered my salad. I understand that its Labor Day wknd and you probably don’t want to work, but don’t take it out on the customer. Otherwise great great food!

Because this Paradise Bakery location is so convenient to my office, I have given it several opportunities over the past several months. Each time, I have left saying to myself I will never go back. Today, I had a breakfast meeting there. We started out with the A/C vent dripping water onto our table. While we were eating, I looked around and noticed that table after table needed to be cleaned off, but several employees were sitting down for their own breakfast. I guess that is more important than customer service. After my meeting, I thought I would work there for a bit before I needed to be back at the office. So I went to ask the lady behind the counter for the wifi code. After watching her take 3 phone calls, and the line of people at the counter growing from 1 to 4, she finally got off the phone and cheerfully told me the wifi wasn’t working. Again, not the first time. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this location. There are other sandwich/coffee places around. This one doesn’t deserve your money.

We waited in line for about 20 minutes only to be told that they were no longer serving breakfast. The sign clearly said they were serving breakfast until 2PM and we got there around 11AM. The staff was rude when we asked why they were not serving anymore. Avoid at all costs.

Went for breakfast. Ordered an egg and cheese croissant and a chai tea latte. The girl at the counter thought I wanted a bagel so I had to remind her. The sandwich itself was too greasy and the egg was flavorless as it wasn’t seasoned. It was also rather large and I was full on half of it. The chai was average.

Feels like a Panera or Corner Bakery, just your average chain bakery. I got their steel-cut oatmeal and it was amazing. I generally do not order oatmeal when out because it’s easy and cheap to make so I never feel like the purchase is justified. However, this was awesome and thick. They put an oatmeal rasin cookie at the bottom of the bowl. I don’t think I will ever be able to eat cookie-less oatmeal again. The only tweak that would make it better would be extra strawberries. I will definetly go back and order the exact same breakfast.

Just had lunch here. I’m an Arizona transplant living in Dallas so I was so excited to see a familiar restaurant here from back home. I ordered one of my favorite sandwiches, the Tuscan Chicken sandwich. I got my eagerly anticipated sandwich only to take a bite of it and find something in that bite that I couldn’t quite swallow. Upon further inspection, I found it was a piece of paper. Whoever made my sandwich was in such a rush that they couldn’t be bothered to remove the parchment paper that they use to separate the cheese slices in the bin. Didn’t make for a very memorable experience. Won’t be coming back here anytime soon. A word of advice to anyone who decides to eat here, look at what you’re about to eat very carefully before diving in.

Maybe nostalgia brings me back to this place time and time again, but I really enjoy the food here. I used to come here all the time as a law student when I clerked at the nearby courthouse, and it is still my favorite place for lunch working now in downtown. Yes, the service can be spotty. Yes, the inside is a little dumpy and outdated. Yes, sometimes the drink machine is broken. But, the food and cookies are always reliably good. I’ve gotten a variety of things from soups, salads, and paninis, to cold sandwiches. They have all been good. And, I love that you always get a cookie with their meals. Or you can buy 2 for the price of one. I just cannot resist their chocolate chip cookies! Their sugar cookies with sprinkles are pretty tasty too! I also like the price point, will return!

Love this place. The salads are phenomenal for lunch. They also use very big salad portions.

Classic spot for a casual lunch, especially when it’s nice out, or to grab a salad or sandwich to go. Paradise Bakery touts their cookies as «what they’re famous for» but I don’t see that. I believe I’ve tried them all over the years, with probably the lemon zest flavor being my favorite(or was it the macadamia nuts?), but let’s admit it, they’re just cookies, and not even fancy ones. But when you get a free cookie with the rest of your meal, you surely won’t complain. The sandwiches are not bad, although if I were a regular I would probably turn to the salads. It’s a better option for big deliveries or for events, and the location is quite nice, allowing a larger group to check out different restaurants and reconvene afterwards. The«Paradise» bit is somewhat of an overstretch; if the cookie monster in you is up for s treat, this might work, but won’t be memorable.

Followed directions very well. We had lunch delivered for a corporate event on 1÷26÷15 and every thing was done correctly — we had some picky eaters so asked for all dressings and veggies on the site. Provided a good variety of chips and the cookies were delicious as always. On time and friendly staff for delivery. We just actually ordered again for tomorrow!

I’ve been to this location of Paradise Bakery a few times, and I’m guessing it was a few times too many. Each time I’ve come here, I’ve been dissatisfied with my food. The blueberry/cranberry muffins are never soft and moist. It seems that whenever I want to get a muffin from here, I was come on the days when the muffins are old and hard. I tried to build my own salad here once and the ingredients were not fresh. My lettuce was wilted before I could even put any dressing on it. The lattes are not even good here. I am not impressed and for that reason, I won’t be visiting this place again.

Ok, so this is the first time I’m leaving a review about this place, although I’ve had the worst experiences there multiple times. I always walk out of there saying, «I hate this place.» Why do I keep going back? Because it’s the closest place to grab some breakfast or lunch to go during work. So, today, I ordered the oatmeal with fruit, placed inside an oatmeal/raisin cookie bowl. The concept was cool but the taste was overbearing with brown sugar. I also ordered a croissant. After going back to work to the the 10th floor, they croissant was no where to be found. Back down 10 floors and still haven’t touched my work, I returned for my piece of bread. The girl who works there, I see her every time I’m there. She acted as if I was untruthful. The croissant was still in the microwave. She gave me the weakest, «Sorry» ever. The yogurt parfait is absolute favorite but for $ 4AND bad service, I’ll make my own and be able to have some for the week at that cost. The cookies aren’t that good. They are always hard. I don’t even get the free ones on display. Bottom line, the service there is VERY bad. They don’t care, either. I think I’m only writing a review because I’ve reached my boiling point. I’m done with that place!

Went the other week and ordered a cappuccino, received a latte with no foam, lots of warm milk. This time I knew to specify what exactly I wanted… order a cappuccino with only halfway full and foam. Still received a latte that tastes like warm milk, yumm. Also decided to order a southwest breakfast wrap. After about 20 minutes of waiting and see all the people who ordered after me get their food, I decided to inquire. My order was never put through and the«chef»(a lady with a pan out front) kept making omelets. Waited a total of 35 minutes and the place was empty. But I did receive a unapologetic«sorry for the wait» so that was nice. Employees don’t seem to be interested in serving or customer service. Won’t be back.

Where’s the beef? Sandwiches are a huge hunk of bread covering two very thin slice of turkey or roast beef. i understand it is a bakery but really?

Nothing fancy here but it is a perfect spot to grab a quick salad or sandwich. This paradise is always super crowded in the morning with folks grabbing breakfast before scooting over to their offices. After breakfast hours it almost seems abandoned with maybe a few tables occupied but thats ok because the food still delivers. Is it the best? No, but it is just fine and they really can do no wrong as long as they are still serving up those amazing cookies they have! The best part of this Paradise Bakery is that it literally shares a door with Tin Star Taco, which is nice when you are with a larger group who may all want different options!

Paradise Bakery is a perfect weekday lunch spot for a healthy eater seeking economical prices and a quick lunch. Their soups and salads are delicious with an order-at-the-counter system. It’s nothing fancy, but their cookies and yummy salads are a delicious treat! Their catering is also great for business meetings!

Meh — I was really expecting more from Paradise, but it was disappointing. I love these kinds of places where their bread and cookies are baked fresh and they have healthy salads, sandwiches, and soup for lunch. I ordered the sandwich and soup combo: Traditional Turkey on Paradise Molasses bread and French Onion soup — the sandwich had very little flavor and the soup was very salty. I didn’t care much for the Molasses bread either. We also got some cookies to go, but because the lunch wasn’t a hit — we decided to eat the cookies right away. They were hard to bite into and very chewy where you felt your jaw tensing up. I thought their baked stuff was made fresh? Guess not — or maybe they threw in last night’s batch with the fresh batch that day and I just so happened to have picked up the old ones. Yuck — I don’t think I’ll come back(unless anyone has suggestions to their better tasting menu options!)
