They have twice sent letters trying to strong arm me into their maintenance plan. The letters state that the warranty of the A/C unit isn’t valid without their maintenance plan, but that was proven completely wrong when I had a different service replace the condenser(outdoor coils) under warranty. Combined with their overpriced service, Methinks not.

I’m very disappointed in this company and we will not be calling them again. The technician, Paul, was excellent. He did a wonderful job, was prompt, and helpful. The problem is that when we called for service they told us that to replace our drain pan and install a float switch for our AC unit would be $ 236 as it was a pretty standard job. Then, as the tech was packing up I asked to make sure he installed the float switch. I was then told that would cost an extra $ 138 That’s 60% more than we were quoted over the phone! I was told, by the technician, that they shouldn’t have quoted me that, but the fact remains that they did. I thought it would be no big deal to contact the company and get the issue resolved as it was their error. The last thing I wanted to do was short the technician, after all, he was wonderful. I contacted the company the day after the service was completed and it has now been 3 weeks and I still haven’t heard back. I think they should honor their quoted price and refund my $ 138. Just beware that if they give you a quote over the phone, the service could be much more and don’t expect them to make right their error.

It’s a couple of years since I first did business with this company. Like Karen said, they seem very punctual and professional, but it’s all a show. She paid $ 8000 for a new unit? It probably should have been half that. Their big thing is to get you to sign up for their maintenance agreement, with a monthly payment automatically charged to your credit card. They tell you you will get a discount on parts if you have the agreement, but it’s not worth the monthly charge. When I purchased a unit, I had a humidifier put in. They wired the water switch incorrectly, almost burning it out. I corrected it(I know about wiring). The next time they came out for a check-up, they screwed it up again! I suspect they hire new grads from HVAC training schools, who will work there until they get enough experience to go somewhere else to make more money. My main gripes with them is the lack of experience and poor quality work, over pricing, and the one that made me dump them, one of their techs tried to give me some BS about replacing a small fan cover, telling me it was dangerous… and that it would cost $ 700 per unit to replace! When I said I would think about it, they disabled the unit by unplugging the ignitor leaving us with no heat. and this in the winter time! I called in another company to check it out, and they said it looked like someone had scratched the fan cover to make it look like a crack, and that even if it had been cracked, it was not a dangerous thing. Now, it’s been a couple of years and I have a water leak in my attic from that humidifier… as I checked out what was causing the leak, I realized how sloppy the installation was overall! Duct lines into the plenum not done correctly and leaking air, duct lines routed so tight they restrict air passage, water pans tilted, mastic smeared on, not sealing anything… it was not good at all. Sorry Karen, but those who know… could not recommend these guys. UPDATE: Oh, look… Five 5 star and one 4 star reviews showed up for these guys… all done today. all done by 1st time reviewers! amazing! Eek! Methinks not.

Okay, I’ll start by saying that I’m not going to hold it against these guys that I’m $ 8,000 poorer! It isn’t their fault my ancient air conditioner and furnace died at the end of my most stressful week! I lucked upon these guys after having a Milestone electric guy inform me that my issue wasn’t electrical, but was the air conditioner. He recommended this place, and I didn’t have time or energy to try to hunt for anyone else. Here are the highlights: 1. They came out on a Saturday within a couple of hours of calling! 2. I saw a total of 4 different guys over the entire weekend, and none of them were creepy. They are very professional, kind, and concerned about the customer. They worried about my floors and even vacuumed before leaving! 3. I really didn’t feel like I was getting a «used auto-salesman» sales pitch. I was presented with my options and given the chance to make my own decision without argument. 4. The 2 guys who installed the unit out back and the new furnace inside worked ALLDAY on the Sunday before Memorial Day. Who does that? They really saved us… 5. They called to check on my service and one of the first guys who helped me on Saturday came out the Sunday of installation to make sure I was doing okay. Great company, nice people, and I highly recommend them!
