They claim to have the best Reuben sandwich in Dallas and after having tried it I can’t say that I disagree and I’ve tried a lot of Reuben’s. The sandwich was just amazing! Beware that it comes open faced and is massive making for quite a messy meal if you eat it with your hands. My only complaint was the potato salad portion was tiny but since the sandwich was so huge I can’t really complain as I couldn’t finish it anyway. I’ll definitely be back.

Had to try the Ruben. It was very good and the portion was huge. Split it with my wife and neither one of us could finish our half. Have to come back and try the Chicago dog. It looked great.

I stopped in after picking up plants from Ruibal’s across the street and had their Chicago Dog. Boy oh boy! I will be back to try their other delicacies.

Midwest transplant and frequent visitor of Chicago here, and this place is the real deal. Had an excellent chili dog, and looking forward to trying the Reuben.

I guess looks can be deceiving, having been to different hot dog places in Chicago and elsewhere this place was unimpressive. The hot dog I had was missing celery salt, the meat wasnt cooked well and i saw them put the bun in a microwave which explains the hard bun. There was only a few tomatoes on the dog which was overwhelmed with the relish, I hate to say it, sonic has a better dog. Lemonade was not good either.

Great place for lunch. Huge portions. The Reuben was literally two meals and a snack for me. Really.

The Italian beef reminded me of the sandwiches I used to get down in Wrigleyville. With hot giardinaire it is the best«beef» I’ve had in Dallas.

*This awesome little Chicago-style deli is inside Shed 2 in the Dallas Farmer’s Market. Just so ya know.* My husband found this somehow and was eager for us to try ASAP. We finally headed over(just down the road from his workplace) and were amazed by what’s brewing within the Farmer’s Market. I’m guessing they’re renovating Shed 2 into a food-court of sorts? Inside Shed 2, was this little place. Manned by two gentlemen, they offer a unique variety of cheeses, sausages, meats, pretty much all things deli with an Italian flair. I ordered the Vienna hot dog with REAL relish, onions, tomatoes and mustard. Husband ordered the ‘Beef’(if you want to get all technical). The hot dog came with a side of pasta and it was great! Very fresh. I finally was able to bite into my hot dog and it was awesome. Juicy and topped with absolutely fresh toppings, it was heaven. Husband shared some of his ‘Beef’ with me, and it was greatness. He even said it was better than the one he tried in Chicago when he visited. I really liked the feel of the place, even though it’s just in it’s own little nook. I gave it 4 stars because after having hot dogs from elsewhere in Austin, I’ve been spoiled. I do admit, the hot dog could have been a tad bigger, but that could very well just be my Texan mentality. Visit, eat and hopefully we can give this local business a chance of survival(as we were a couple of the 3 people eating there at 11:30am, we’re thinking because it’s newly opened & perhaps no one knows about this tiny spot).
