So, I saw a groupon for this salon… I called them to make sure they would be able to fit me in before I bought the groupon. The groupon price was $ 108 for a ombré style. The salon asked me to not purchase the groupon and said they would give me the same price. On my appointment day, I went into the salon… they were SO nice and I was made to feel at home. Then… they came in and said the ombré would be $ 108 but there’s a $ 69 charge for hair color. Uh, first of all… this was never stated in the groupon. But, I was already there on my day off so what else could I do but say okay. Victoria was so nice, and took her time to make sure she did a good job. The salon owner was also there and she frequently checked in to make sure Victoria knew what she was doing. But, the price was over $ 200 by the time I tipped her… I cant afford hair that costs $ 200! And I got down to my car and realized there was a ring of dye surrounding my entire head. For $ 200 my head should have been dye free…
The worst part is, that this is my favorite hair color I’ve ever had… but I won’t go back there because a) I can’t afford it b) I feel like they added in extra money since I didn’t buy the groupon directly and c) they could have cleaned the dye off my head… even my $ 20 dye jobs at SuperCuts do that…
