Exactly the service I wanted. Nancy took my current wardrobe and paired just the right pieces to make outfits I wouldn’t have selected but look fantastic together. She also is a good source for clothing and alterations at very reasonable prices. Finally, she did not try to sell me items I didn’t need; she simply told me what would be great additions to what I already had. It was a very pleasant experience. Highly recommend.

Nancy Is the best thing that has happened to my appearance!!! Right from the time I called her for the initial consultation, I knew I had a winner.
She started with a closet review. With her very discerning eye, she went through all of my clothes, purging the old, tired and ill-​fitting pieces and creating a pile for alterations. I was expecting her to peer inside my closet, gather everything up and declare it all garbage… but guess what, she made up outfits for me which had everyone thinking I went shopping !!! I was also a little relieved to know that I am not totally lacking in a sense of style. Ever since I put on weight, I hated shopping since nothing fit right anymore and I’d wear shapeless stuff trying to cover up. Nancy showed me how to accentuate the positives and introduced me to the wonderful world of suppression garments!!!
We went shopping after the closet review and I truly felt like a queen that day !!! First, I did not have to wade through racks and racks of clothes. Nancy had pre shopped for me and all I had to do was try on tons and tons of clothes and preen in the mirror … AWESOME !! Also,
I did not have to stand in line to checkout. Nancy’s assistant did that for me. That was the day Nancy helped me find the perfect bra… yes there is such a thing !!! you may have to work hard to find it but when you do… O-M-G…you’ll be singing bralellujah like I was…
Finally the best part was when we were done shopping and Nancy came over to my place & put together a «lookbook» for me. This book is the ‘Holy Grail’ of my wardrobe with outfits put together with accessories & shoes ! I have outfits for work, for fun, for going out, even outfits under the category ‘grocery store chic’…
Imagine how easy it is to get dressed for. anything!. All you do is flip thru the book, pick the look you like and you have everything u need in your closet already…
Oooh, and if you need alterations (I am 5.2″ & always do), Nancy got me in touch with Colleen, who is a seamstress. Colleen will come over to your place, measure you up, pick up your clothes and when she is done, bring them back to you… how great is that? And she is very reasonable, I got 3 pants, 3 blouses altered and it cost me less than $ 80… & the alterations were perrrfect…
A lot of folks may think that a personal shopper is an indulgence. The way I see it is looks matter, they are not everything but they are pretty darn important. You may have friends who can do it for free but trust me they cannot do what Nancy can… A creative outfit is more than just putting A & B together. I think this is best thing I invested in ever. I have a closet full of fantastic clothes put together to make outfits which make a personal style statement. And best of all I always have Nancy. who thanks to her Blackberry addiction will reply to any of your ‘what to wear’ questions… free of charge. Everyone needs a fashion fairy godmother, I found mine !!!
