I’ve brought my kids to this place on multiple occasions, and each time I tell myself… NEVERAGAIN! But they love the theme of this place so I keep coming. My experience, this time, was probably the worst so far. Upon arrival, we noticed there was work being done to a booth close to the door of the play place. Instead of placing a sign, or blocking it off, they leave it open for kids to run by while this man is welding! That was the first thing. The teen taking our order did her job. My order came out fine, so no complaints about that employee. However, as I’m walking into the play place, the manager is speaking to the Hispanic man working on the booth. Very loudly! I try not to pay any mind, until he says to him, for the whole place to hear, «Do I need to tell you in Spanish!?» …the man was speaking English very clearly. So I tell him how inappropriate that was to say, and they both begin to explain that their friends, that’s just how they talk to each other. With that being said, it’s still not okay to make a comment like that out in the open. Especially in your work place where customers, like myself, hear racism like that! I don’t care that y’all are buddies, leave that crap out of your place of employment. And to add to it, this manager is yelling to me as I’m already sitting down to eat with my kids, «I was always taught to mind my own business, now who’s being rude?» Wow, really? That’s how management here handles things. Good job McDonalds!

Being a horrible employee is becoming an epidemic in oak cliff. Simple request can not be followed due to the inability to care. Now who’s fault is this, employees or management? I blame the management in this case cause they hired this sad folks that work here at Mcdonald’s at 632 S RL Thornton Frwy. I hate and I mean hate to go to this particular location due to it’s staff. But it was late and cold, didn’t have time to drive to another one so I gave it a try again. I have sat at this location in the drive thru with 20 mins waiting for someone to service me before. so i was surprised when i was helped right away. All I wanted was two diet cokes with lite ice and a hot pie. the cashier was nice at first window but the second person could careless about me. I said«hello», NOTHING came out. Told him thank you as he handed me my bag, NOTHING again. So I just blew it off, thinking rude employee. I open the bag, the pie was cold, ICE cold. so open my drink almost all ice(see pic) and no diet coke. I know that in the great scheme of the world this shouldn’t matter but learning to follow rules is a huge part of growing up and becoming an adult. Every job I have had I done 100% at, may have hated the job but I wanted to do a good job. we as consumers have to stand up and say good job or bad job to teach people we are not just ATMs to them. Will anything change from this post. NO!

It’s McDonald’s…is a review necessary? Okay, I guess so. I went here Sunday morning before church because, for some reason, I was craving a sausage biscuit and there just so happened to be golden arches on the way to church AND I was early, so, I treated myself to a sausage biscuit and hash brown. The sausage biscuit was great but the hash brown was super greasy, after one bite my mouth was coated in grease… ew! I didn’t finish my hash brown but my sausage biscuit hit the spot! Thanks Mickey D’s. Oh, and beware of the weird first window of the drive thru… I’m pretty sure there have been many of driver-side scrape jobs on the side of this McDonald’s…it’s not drive thru friendly at all.

24HOURDRIVETHRULOCATION If you have kids… and you just came from the Dallas Zoo… you have to end the day at this McDonald’s. It is almost mandatory. The service is meh, but the atmosphere is amazing!!!(yep, I used three explanation marks). Just look at the pics I included. They have one of the most themed McDonald’s I’ve ever seen. This location looks like a safari bus full of large zoo escapee cartoon animals ran into this restaurant and settled. If I were a kid(and especially a animal loving one) and my parents took me to this location I would be floored from all of the visual treats that I would be experiencing here. And if you just like going to different looking McDonald’s then you will find a lot to enjoy here as well. The bad… I don’t know if you’ve ever seen the area around the Dallas Zoo, but let me put it kindly. It’s not the most savory part of town(I didn’t say it was bad, just not great). The moment I pulled into the parking lot, I was approached by a long winded woman asking for spare cash to help her purchase Fix-A-Flat. Did she really need the money for this product? I don’t know, but I wouldn’t be surprised if this was her sneaky way of getting money from people either.(she didn’t seem too happy with the little bit of change that I had to give her — sorry I don’t carry cash) Anyhow, check this location out if you have the chance or are in the area.
