I went to Mariner Sails after another online retailer sold me a kayak that was out of stock. Calling me after charging my card to tell me I would have to wait 1 – 2 months to be received from Austin. I got a refund and decided to visit my LOCAL kayak dealer. First time I went just to look. After thinking it over for a couple of days, I went in again and met Chris. Chris was very knowledgeable and excited to help. He answered a million of questions. I was in there for 2 hours while he set me up with everything I needed and under my set budget. I highly recommend this retailer.

It’s Monday… I need a very hard to find part (H16 Port Jib Traveler for integrated track) by Wednesday. Called Murray’s in California and no joy, tho they gave me the numbers of 10 companies all over the US that might stock the part. Called all 10. Nothing. Friend of mine living near Dallas suggested I call Mariner. Guy named John answers the phone. Knows exactly what part I need. Tells me «no problem, I’ll have the part overnighted from Hobie California and then I’ll overnight it to you. You’ll have it by Wednesday». Where do you find service like this? I don’t live in Dallas but I can assure you I’ll never buy another Hobie part from any other company.
