I bought the Indian curly hair and a closure in 2012. I have dyed, bleached, straightened and cut the hair and it is still the best purchase I have ever made. I have also purchaed the kinky curly hair and it makes my natural hair perfectly. Love this company! !!

Customer service not all that great. Bundles didn’t last 2 months and I had to take it down. Tried to reinstall and do quick weave bob, bundles were over with. No color added or anything. I won’t buy from here again. $ 250.00 down the drain. UGH.

I love mane man hair. my mom and i both bought Indian curly (3 bundles 14, 16, 18) and a lace closure. The hair has a beautiful wave pattern and comes back when wet or straightened. I kept mine black and put a burgundy rinse on the ends and although it does dry out (typical curly hair dry out) if you get the leave in conditioner from, the boutique a little goes a long way and leaves it moisturized and soft. My mom dyed her hair blonde. The ends had to be trimmed because they got fried but the hair kept the wave pattern through it all. We will be getting our next hair from Mane Man. I will say make sure you look at the color of your hair when you buy it. He has different «browns» in the Indian hair so you could get a 1B or 4.

The customer derive is great! Better than any experience you will have walking into a normal beauty supply. No pressure– great knowledge. The female is blunt and honest with real install experience but the guy is much more knowledgeable about the hair overall. (I think it’s his company) I would call ahead for gear you want tho… I went to make a second purchase and they didn’t have what I needed. He told me it would be in tomorrow and that’s ok. The hair I did purchase previous was 2x Brazilian 20″ in deep curly. I bleached it and it did really well, the curls feel a little but that was expected. They didn’t fall to waves, it was still a spiral curl pattern. No shedding no tangles. Overall good investment.

Let me first start off by saying I don’t write reviews unless I’m really trying to get a point across. I bought a closure and Brazilian bundle from the Dallas location. The hair was more expensive than other places I’ve bought from but I was in a bind and needed hair quickly. The bundle itself is pretty decent, but the closure piece is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. I bought the closure in January buy mid-​March I already had a lot of bald spots in the closure. My husband noticed that after I finished doing my hair, there was hair everywhere. I know it had the be from the closure or the bundle bc, I hadnt noticed hair everywhere, before the products for Mane Man were installed. The balding was so bad I had the put dark eyeshadow on the spots so you couldn’t see it. I ended up buying another closure from a different place and when I get the Mane Man closure taken out today I plan on taking it up to show them how bad it was. I will see how they will handle the situation to decide if I’ll buy hair (not closure) from them again. Please know that I take very good care of my hair. I wash it bi-​weekly and wrap it in a scarf EVERY night. It’s a real shame that this piece didn’t last a full install cycle. I will update this review, once I speak with them.

This review is based soelu on customer service because I decided to go with another vendor. I went to the Plano, TX location and the customer service was amazing. The sales representative was knowledgable, honest, and helpful.

It’s been over a year since I’ve had to purchase hair and that’s because of Man mane boutique, the quality of his hair is phenomenal no shed kept it’s shine and it still bounces right back, I’m purchasing new hair because I want the cure Indian now

You can’t get stylist discount and 10% check in, one or the other… its worth it though love the different hair textures and the owner has great customer service and communicates well if a problem (bad batch) arises!

Here you find a Black man in America selling Indian hair weave. That loaded sentence says everything for me, but, I’ll continue if you need more. Count that as a pro.
Other pros: (2) He sells hair that matches my natural 4a, b, or c hair. I bought Virgin Indian hair. The texture was wavy yaky. It hasn’t been installed yet and I’ll update the review if there are any surprises (!!!) but I like running my fingers through it already. It feels like my hair feels when it’s pressed out so I believe it will be easy to blend. There was one customer when I went in and she seemed like a regular because she got some special treatment! That’s cool. (note to self: Be a regular.) (3) Nevertheless, the owner was relatively patient with me. I am not easy! I know very little about buying hair other than what I DON’T like. I also know very little about technology. (He rang me up with his fancy ipad. Don’t judge me.) Still, he giggled some but didn’t roll his eyes or push me out of the store like other places where they act like they are selling you P. diddy for $ 9.99 and you owe THEM your first born child. (4) I saw some wavy hair that looks like my hair after I take it out of french braids (tight and wavy). I want that for the summer!
Cons: They don’t sell center pieces for this course hair so you will have to leave hair out. Also, I didn’t see any price tags and my daddy said if they don’t sticker a price on it, that means they don’t want you to buy it! I just want to know that I am getting the same deal as the regulars! Online, there was hair on sale. Why couldn’t I get some sale hair? Speaking of online, it’s confusing to a newbie like me. They have a very small selection and everything is not even shown online. (That or it was named differently online) Overall, the website confused me, required a lot of work to navigate, and was displeasing to me! Just go in the store if you can. Also, it’s still the hair business so there was none of that happy, hello, how are you, come on in stuff when they greeted me on the phone or in person. In fact, I venture to say your experience might not be so pleasant if by chance the owner isn’t there because the lady seemed … annoyed to have customers.
So anyway, I will be buying my hair from this place. It’s not like you get BETTER service at the other stores. I want to support this business and they actually sold me some hair I can work with!!!
NOTE: It’s in a shopping center/​salon right off HWY 75. It’s in it’s own suite. Once you enter, go left. They also sell hair vitamins and T Shirts.
