BUYERBEWARE!!! NORETURNS!!! They won’t return anything — even defective quality — outrageous! Their quality is sub-par(if you’re expecting to actually exercise in their clothing) and you’re hosed if you have an issue with any items. They are expensive and NOTWORTHIT!

I am so happy Lorna Jane finally opened a store in Dallas! I have been to this location a few times and have been happy with their selection and service. All of the employees are more than willing to assist in finding you the right size and fit. The only thing that would make this location better Is if the store was a little bigger, it almost seems like the items are crammed in to every nook.

The newest addition to the Dallas athletic market– Lorna Jane. I work out daily(crossfit & running), and who doesn’t like to look cute while they exercise? :) I know all of the local active wear options well– from Lululemon to Athleta to Luke’s Locker to Nordstrom– and I was excited to have a new option! So– clothes. Cute. Some of them are a little too over-the-top for me(really? Crunchy, shiny silver mini shorts? What sport ARE those for exactly?) The quality is good, better than Lululemon of late for sure, and everything has flat locked seams, wicking fabrics, etc. Lorna Jane is proud of her clothes, no doubt– you will have to really sort through things to find the items that DON’T have a huge Lorna Jane logo on them.(reminiscent of VS Pink clothes.) However, it can be done– I left with 3 items– capri tights, a mesh tank and a sports bra. Price point– Lorna Jane is definitely the pricier option. Capris are $ 92+, the tank I bought was $ 68, the sports bra $ 64. Service– Good enough for having just opened. The girls who helped me were eager to please, although they were still learning about the merchandise. OK, so overall not bad, right? Right. So why the two stars? Well, their return policy SUCKS. Apparently they don’t do returns. You can exchange your unworn, unwashed item for store credit for 3 weeks, but that’s it. No one told me. Yes, I could have read my receipt or the small sign at the register, but really? So I get home, try on the capri tights and decide that they’re just not very comfortable. I won’t wear them. So back I go, 6 days post-purchase. And I find out that I can only get a gift card. Um, what? NOONE does that. Even Lululemon, whose return policy is much reviled, refunds your money within 2 weeks. Athleta and Nordstrom– no worries, they want you to be happy. So this policy is very out of line with the competition. So will I be shopping at Lorna Jane? No. There are too many other options in Dallas(and online!) whose policies are much more consumer-friendly.
