Lincoln Crossing Apartments

We had a hail storm on March 23^rd. I had two broken windows that are still unfixed. At first there was a flurry of activity, windows were boarded up, later protective plastic was applied on the inside of the windows. Everything looked promising for a quick turnaround for the repair work… For a couple of days there were teams of guys fixing windows, I even had a guy come into my apartment saying he was there to replace the panes, he left… THAT WAS OVER TWO WEEKS AGO! I have seen ZERO repair activity on the premises and NO info from management. I pay a lot in rent, this is UNACCEPTABLE!
DO NOT RENT HERE!

After living here for 2 years & would absolutely resign another lease if I didn’t have to move to Ft. Worth, I thought I’d take the time to do a review.
Pros–
1.) The price. The price for a place like this is cheaper than most places for what you have living here.
2.) Maintenance. These guys are always on top of their game since the first day I moved in. I thought they made a visit within the day I turned in my move-​in sheet because I was new but both years I always got same day visits after turning in a maintenance order. Even after hours! (Came home after 11 pm to my A/​C not working & an hour later they were there!)
3.) I have never had noise issues or any disturbances living here. I always feel safe & even see families walking after dark.
4.) Valet trash 5 days a week (Sunday-​Thursday) & a place to take trash if need be on Friday & Saturday.
5.) Great property. Pool & hot tub are open all year where there are also 2 grills on deck with a fire place, seats & fan. Little grills around. Tennis courts.
6.) Free laundry facilities on property for those without washer & dryer.
7.) Location. Everything you could possibly need, want & never knew about is in a close proximity. Addison for night life, Plano for restaurants & down Preston for more!
8.) The staff is absolutely amazing. Is it their job to help us and make us comfortable? Yes. However, not only did their jobs, they’re friendly, accommodating, down-​to-​earth, punctual, & everything you could ask for in a staff.
Cons–
1.) Lighting. There isn’t very much lighting in the parking lot which makes it hard for delivery, cabs or anything of the sort to find building numbers.
2.) Only had an issue once with the thickness between units when my neighbor above me was doing work with power tools & hammering. Other than that I’ve never had issues that a few others have had with walls.
Overall, I HIGHLY recommend these apartment complexes.

Has anyone else noticed how low ratings are for apartment complexes when you are hunting? As such, I was extremely skeptical when I only saw one 5-​star review for this place.
After visiting in person and meeting the staff, I decided to take the leap of faith. Fast forward a few months, and I’m really enjoying it. The location is close to:
— Addison if you want night life
— Next door to Plano if you are looking for a gym/​restaurants (especially good Asian food)
— Bordering the highway for a quick getaway.
Staff is friendly and down-​to-​earth and WOW maintenance is on-​point. There are only two guys for the entire complex but they always come on the same day to fix things even when I note «low priority». I’m also amazed that they have valet trash because its a big property. I pay significantly less than I did in uptown for better staff and surroundings.
The only cons I have thus far are:
1. People don’t necessarily pick up after their pets (problem I see everything I’ve lived though).
2. I don’t have a problem with the thickness of the walls, but I have heard some people say they are thin.
3. Not many lights at night, so hard for friends/​über drivers to find you.

These apartments are awesome! Great office staff and maintenance is on top of their game! Reasonable priced, but the location beats that out. Close to everything you could ever want or need. I have been here 2.5 years and would stay longer, however, I want a house.
