I used a voucher and at first was skeptical, but so glad I called in the pros. They were able to hang a very heavy kitchen island light with quite ease. The install went smooth and quickly despite the complicated wiring. The technician Tim Lee was professional, on-time and courteous… and best of all clean. A contractor that cleans up after they are done is so rare these days that I stood there stunned! Also the owner was great and scheduling was super easy.

I think this outfit does a very good job. I bought a $ 39 Angie’s List Big Deal coupon for up to $ 169 of eligible electrical service. The next morning I had an email message asking me to set an appointment. Julie answered my call and got me scheduled with an electrician for the same day. My issue was with two GFCI outlets that could not be re-set; one in the garage and the other one at the front porch. Patrick came out and spent about 2.5 hours checking, and cross-checking all outlets in the house, the electrical junction box, and visually tracing the wiring in the basement. He had a devil of a time trying to figure out what the connecting source of power should be for the two affected outlets that were not working. He called other co-worker electricians twice to conference what the issues might be. He could not determine where the power was supposed to be coming from for the non-functional outlets. Finally, he said a complete major diagnosis and repairs were recommended. The price is $ 289 for that kind of work; however, my coupon for $ 169 brought the additional cost down to $ 120. After a total time of 3 hrs, the culprit was an outdoor GFCI outlet on my backyard deck. That outdoor outlet worked, but it had corroded connectors for the line going to some unknown outlet(s). A new weather-proof outlet was installed, and then it became known how the connection to the two affected GFCI outlets was wired, the problem was solved. My total cost for the repairs was $ 159, which includes the price for the discount coupon.

These guys rock!!! We had a complete power outage due to a fire in our meter panel… conveniently this happened the Friday afternoon before Labor Day weekend! They dispatched immediately, worked with Greystone Power until dark… came back Saturday morning to finish the job! They coordinated everything and didn’t charge extra even though it was an emergency, on a weekend, a holiday weekend & we needed extra pipe, a bigger box, etc. They stuck with their quote — no hidden fees or surprises! Brad took charge from the very beginning & kept us informed every step of the way. A shout out to Electramedics too for referring us to Light’em Up! And to DJ and his colleague for their help Friday night! All around turned what was sure to be a miserable nightmare into a quick fix. I hope we never have an emergency again but if we do, we will be calling Brad at Light’em Up! I give them my highest recommendation! I also nominated their business to become a TrustDALE Certified business! They deserve it!
