I can get passed how expensive it is it get in, and how much drinks cost; they have decent music… but the bar tender is a straight up dick. The girls who tended me were sweet and very attentive dispite being busy, on the other hand I went to get a glass of water from closer to where I was, I patiently waited my turn to ask for something and he started cursing at me. I looked over my shoulder and could see the barback coming from behind, so I step aside to let him under, and proceeded to try to get a glass of water. He then kept shooing me away still calling me a bitch! I have never had problems like this in a club and supposedly from somewhere supposed to be so nice. I’m appalled. I asked the bartender what the fuck his problem was, I only wanted water. He then started signaling to a bouncer who then without question began ushering me out the door. I have never been kicked out of anywhere in my life. I wish I got his name. The disrespect was unbelievable.

Bouncers are so cheap. They are bribing money to let you in the club in middle of the party saying you are drunk we can’t allow you. They took money and informed their other crew not to let us in and bribe money again. SOCHEAP

After trying out this club for the first time on Halloween, I was pretty impressed by the setup and the music and hence have tried it again too. We park at the parking lot across it for $ 10. Not tired the valet yet. The club itself is spacious and has a good dance floor. It starts buzzing after 11PM as with most clubs. The DJ on Halloween was amazing. Played all kinds of music with more concentration towards EDM. They do invite special DJ’s for the events so the extra bass must be due to that. We had come again on Friday night and the club didn’t fail to impress. I want to point out that the music was all good but mostly american latino music. The club was filled with Latinos making me wonder if Friday night was a Latino night or something as Salsa and other Latino dances got the most of the dance floor. The drinks are $ 9 – 11 for Jack and Coke, Vodka, etc, $ 6 for beers at any of the 2 bars they have. The smoking zone outside has couch seating and also you can do hookah there which is an added attraction if you just want to chill and enjoy the weather after too much of dancing. Overall its a good club with a good dance vibe and some hookah to compliment it all.

I wish I could give this place less than 1 star but it isn’t an option on here. VERY expensive drinks, awful music, awful service, really idiotic staff, and last but not least the hookah is $ 50 and was the worst I’ve ever had. I blew $ 80 in one night here for a friend’s birthday and I am so upset that this place is still in business. If you like terrible music and overpriced bottom shelf liquor then this is your place.

Bartender was a DICK. I passed on a drink when he asked us if we wanted another round. Then when I finally did order a drink, he SLAMMED my bill down and walked away. Thanks for being cool about pacing myself.

This place had terrible music. Didn’t know one song and they all sounded the same. Terrible night. Terrible service. Took 45 mins to close my tab! The place wasn’t crowded at all. We had table service and didn’t even need it.

I love Levu! So much fun and the best cocktail waitresses! You have to check it out. They book cool up and coming djs and is in the coolest spot in Dallas. The lights from the ceiling are so awesome and every time I go there they make me feel at home. Bottle prices are reasonable and the space is electric!

This place was kind of cool, some people were suspect. Music was mostly house, techno. I’m more of a hip-hop gal but hey I’m open. Also came for a couple of networking events. It’s a cool venue and interesting décor and open layout. Will have to check it out again.

One of the most exquisites club I have ever been to. The atmosphere, the sexy cocktails, management and customer service made this one to remember and come back for more.

GUYS: *Wear dark sneakers — leave your bright sneakers and Converses at home or else you’ll be denied at the door* I had a bad experience the first time I came — the vibe was weird and they made dance music feel too formal. I went to see Fedde Le Grand and I felt really out of place. I didn’t understand why guys were in suits and why girls were in 5 inch heels at but that wasn’t the issue. It was the ridiculous line. The club wasn’t busy inside at all and I didn’t understand why the heck it was so hard to get in when we had already bought tickets beforehand. When Aly and Fila was in town I was hesitant to purchase my tickets because of my previous experience but I was really glad I did because I really enjoyed myself. It was raining pretty heavily that night so they sped up the check in process thankfully. Some casually dressed guys were denied at the door. Please leave your 90’s grunge at home. The crowd was still mixed but the vibe was different. It was slightly more relaxed — not as relaxed as Lizard Lounge but it was well ventilated so we weren’t sweaty sardines bumping and grinding with each other. The bar area is spacious and there’s enough space to dance. I also enjoyed the colorful lit ceiling. Drink prices were average at $ 8/drink. +1 for the acrobats and fire eating girl. Overall, I like the sound system and venue. If Levu keeps this up, I won’t be hesitant to return. :)

We ended up having a good night but manager did not relay nor keep up terms for bottle service. If I hadn’t stayed sober they would have over charged us. We were set up for 2 bottles for 500 but they wanted to charge us 300 a bottle plus gratuity! Not our servers fault but manager should have this corrected. But they over charge then they declined my card 2nd time

Wow I’m a former party girl & I didn’t kno this place even existed. Had a blast at a(rich) friend of a friends bday party, bottle service & table, great music & crowd, definitely a hot spot, situated in weird random area of town tho haha, maybe that’s why I never heard or seen it before. Would def go back again if I was invited!

For what it’s worth this review is coming from a 26 year old male. The general consensus of this place on Unilocal is correct. Le Vu tries to be way fancier than it actually is, if you’re under 30 I’d go some place else unless you really want to see the DJ performing. Be aware even though you are going to a venue that seems to be about playing EDM music you will not be let in unless you’re wearing more formal attire. This place is really for middle aged adults(~35−40 years old) who are trying to recapture their youth and/or impress younger women. Granted the ladies are attractive and the adults there aren’t so bad, but it’s definitely not your ordinary club/bar like you’ll find in uptown. As far as concert audiences go I actually much preferred the audience here as preferred to Lizard Lounge, considering the people don’t smell, aren’t drenched in sweat, and you actually have some room to move around on the dance floor. But my problem is more with the establishment than the customers. The dance floor is smaller but the sound system is very well set up. Be aware unless you are buying $ 250 a bottle table service you won’t have anywhere to sit inside. There are couches outside that fit about 20 or so people so at least you have somewhere to sit if need may be. Drinks were obviously pricey but not as bad as I was expecting, there’s a sizeable bar inside and another one outside. The girls doing bottle service are obviously gorgeous as are most of the female customers. All in all this is a very unique place, I’m sure I’m not the exact demographic this place aims for but I’d say it’s worth trying once.

Eh… I have had better! I get that Levu is trying to be the Bungalow 8 of Dallas… but really guys? There was no line when we got there. Then the bouncers claim there is a «private» party going on… then let us in. We walked in only to see the place is empty at midnight. I was DD and I ended up buying a 9 dollar sugar free Red Bulls. All the tables were full of posers with their Grey Goose(amatuers…Stoli is waaayyy better) and a bunch of Dallas bleach blondes. The décor was nice… the DJ was decent. He was primarily spinning EDM… so these DB’s faces were melting off with every dubstep beat he dropped. The music was extremely loud… I couldnt hear myself think let alone order my sugar free at the bar. I then was approched by a guy named Eduardo. Eduardo was nasty… old…and probably needed the assistance of certain blue pills. He had his tenticles on me… blocking me in as I leaned onto the speaker. He wanted to dance… and I am thinking does he know where he is? Finally escaped the grips of Eduardo… scooped up my friend… and off we went. Should you go just to see it… sure. Is it something I would do on a normal basis… hell no! I dont like it when people try so hard to be pretentious. Just be… geez!

Not even sure what I walked into, the twilight zone? The venue is cute and small, it’s in deep Ellum and $ 10 to valet. It was empty when we walked in, and the music was some techno music that sounded like one long song put on repeat. Don’t get me wrong, I like that kind of music, but I don’t get what the hype was. They hired midget impersonators which was so random. Their coat check was located in the electrical room, and they had 3 doors marked private, what goes on there? Not my type of place to be, or maybe I’m just not hip to be in that scene anymore.

*TIP: Self-Parking is $ 10 in the parking lot across from Levu* If you’ve ever been to Santos Party House in NYC, this is comparable. I came here to see Fedde Le Grand(~$ 30 per person). The system of letting people in was unorganized. There were three lines: those that need to buy tickets, those on a guestlist and those on will call. I understand that those on guestlist will have priority but making those on will call wait as long as the general admission line(20 minutes) is inefficient. Especially when it wasn’t crowded inside. VIP/Reserved tables are on both sides of the dance floor and DJ booth. This makes the dance floor a bit small. Sound System can pack a punch but gets distorted at high volume. Make sure to bring your ear plugs! Odd older crowd, especially women that couldn’t hold their alcohol that were tripping, falling over and bumping into other dancers. Side note: The owner pulled a no-no by writing 5 star review for his own business.
