Not a bad place for a quick cut. I speak very little Spanish but, was able to communicate effectively what I wanted done with my hair and got a nice cut. The lady cutting my hair was nice enough. She did answer her phone while cutting my hair and did the whole hold the phone by her ear with her shoulder bit while cutting my hair which is the only reason I’m not giving them 5 stars. She was apologetic and explained that she is dealing with insurance and it didn’t seem to effect her work or concentration which means she has the experience to pull off a maneuver like that. I’d go back especially since it is so reasonably priced($ 12)

Just recently relocated to Dallas. Got the recommendation to come here from V. @ CT Charming Nails on Lemmon Ave. I was greeted promptly and Mari(Maria) and Maricela were working. Mari did an EXCELLENT job! Lupita(the owner) is great! I have very thick hair and Mari washed, cut and blew my hair dry in a great style in an hour(granted, it was 9:30 am, on a Wednesday). $ 20. Great deal and wonderful people!

So I can’t hype up this place enough great service at a awesome price. Never had any bad service, they get a little busy on Saturdays but for 10 bucks I can see why. Most of there employees speak some English but the language barrier is not a problem cutting hair is universal. This place is out of my way but I gladly keep coming back. Keep up the great work guys. Oh this place is unisex but looks like the mostly cut woman’s hair.

This isn’t a luxury salon but they get the job done and they do it well. I’ve been going to Latinos Unisex for years but only like once or twice a year. Last time I went in was 4÷25÷14(I am due to visit them again this coming month) and they always send me home happy. I have long thick hair so washing and cutting it is always a hassle so going to other salons can be very pricey for me, but not here. I had my hair washed & conditioned, cut(I got layers), blow dried, and styled, for less than 30 bucks. Latinos Unisex is a pretty apt name, their staff is mostly, if not all, latinas and they cater to both men and women. All of them speak Spanish and some speak English, so make sure you tell them, or find somebody who can, what exactly it is you want. I speak Spanish so I’ve never really had an issue. I don’t know if this is just an urban legend but my mom always told me that you want to get your hair cut by the women on the left(smaller) area because they were better. Again, I don’t know if this is true or not but I’ve followed her advice and always leave happy. I would probably avoid weekends, or call to see how busy they are, because it can get packed, but they do have chairs, a TV, and magazines, as well as a vending machine and snacks for purchase.

The little, thickly painted, white house with bars on the windows had a neon open sign but I couldn’t tell if it was maybe a tarot card reader. Inside it was a down to earth, family affair, in a tiny house whose walls had been knocked down, covered in mirrors and then bordered with artificial Ivey so you felt like you were in a Mexican garden of Eden was a set that could be in an Almodovar does Texas movie. The inside trim was in a bright blood red and the white walls were then splattered with thin black paint that kind of looked like hair. It was an odd quirky discoteca look perhaps. The rooms were tranquil with Latin music playing. The Latinas were quietly singing along and every one was relaxing. No American squawking. Spanish is the main language here, but I was able to communicate some basic perimeters to my hairstylist. The electric razor felt I little old and worried I might get an electric shock but the $ 10 price tag for a haircut, both women and men, is as cheap as it gets. Gracias para todos
