Tried the pineapple pork sandwich and the lomo saltado(beef) — both were freshly made and came out quick(quick considering they make it when you order it). I prefer the beef, it was pretty meaty and salty(in a good way). small seating area inside and an equal amount of seating outside, service is good. They have a good selection of baked goods as well: tried the corn muffin which my buddy liked. Would go there again if I were in the area.

I did not care for the Butifarra — big thick tough pieces of ham. Again, the Tomate Mozzarellla was fantastic. The Lomo Saltado was tasty. Edgar was nice.

Food is great!!!(no doubt). Customer service is great too!!! The only bad thing about this place is the owner’s behavior. He is very rude with his employees. I understand he is trying to run a business, but he was yelling to an employee, and literally verbally assaulting him in front of customers which made costumers very uncomfortable as well. This was not the first time that we have witnessed this rude behavior towards his employees. Definitely I will think twice before going back!!!

What a treasure find. Waiting on a tour a cross street stopped in for a snack and coffee. The fruit was amazing and coffee was great. Also had a lemon cake that was delicious.

A great little hole in the wall! The Latin Deli is tucked away in the corner of strip and overshadowed by the large dental clinic next door, but be careful not to miss it! You’ll miss out on some great food! We came in for dinner and it wasn’t very busy but it had a steady stream of customers. The deli offers sandwiches, baked goods, coffee and different drinks/smoothies. It was our first time, so I ordered the pineapple pork after reading some Unilocal reviews and got flan for dessert. The sandwich was pretty good, the bread was nice and toasty, the meat was grilled and flavorful and the cheesy was melty. My only complaint is that while there was a thick piece of pineapple, it was overwhelmed by all the different pork and the sauce drizzled on top. I think another slice would have made it perfect! The flan was very good and for anyone that is use to Japanese flan, where its more pudding/jello like, it is def a more firm almost cake like thickness and texture. The taste was good and they poured I believe condensed milk over the flan to give it a nice extra sweetness. The flan itself wasn’t super sweet, which is something I really prefer. It’s closer to a 4.5 than it is to a 4 but I don’t quite think its a perfect 5 yet… The food is good and the prices are pretty good as well. I plan on coming back and tasting more of their menu, so I wouldn’t be surprised if it becomes a 5 star for me! Friendly servers, good food and great prices? I will be back!

The Latin Deli is a small, feel-good vibe sandwich and bakery nook whose food will leave you satisfied. They have a colorful and simple décor and outdoor seating area. Much like their appearance, the Latin Deli’s food is colorful, yet straightforward. Their ingredients are relatively simple and of good quality, but combined together they make for a delicious and affordable vibrant meal. The simplicity yet uniqueness of the restaurant and friendliness of the small staff makes for a homey and comfortable feel. They offer a variety of fruity drinks, sandwiches, crepes, breakfast options, coffee, and baked goods like tres leches cupcakes, chocolate flan, and some cookies. On this particular occasion we got a tamarind and mango smoothie, a classic Mexican torta, a pineapple and pork sandwich, and a slice of mango flan. The smoothie was a mix of the two fruits listed on their menu and it was made without complaint or up-charge. It was sweet with the taste of tamarind without being overpowering due to the mild taste of mango. I could not tell if the ingredients were fresh, but it tasted good all the same. The pork and pineapple sandwich was stuffed with nice fatty pieces of hand pulled pork and slices of grilled ham and pineapple slices. The bread was crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The only complaint would be to have slightly more pineapple to balance the heaviness of the meats. The classic Mexican torta came with a variety of meats and chorizo, avocado, cheese, jalapeños, tomatoes and mayo. All together, the different tastes and saltinesses of the meats combined nicely with the avocado and mayonnaise. The jalapeños had a nice tart pickled flavor to help cut the meat while adding a nice mild spice to the taste. Both sandwiches came with French fries that were wonderfully seasoned with what seemed like salt, a red pepper, and a little bit of sugar. On the side was a spicy mayo-like dipping sauce, however the fries were perfectly fine on their own. Another minor complaint was that the fries started to become soggy towards the end of our meal. Even so, I still ate them all… What can I say? I’m fat. As for the mango flan, it was more comparable to a very soft moist cake, rather than being gooey and pudding-like. This didn’t detract from the flan at all, as the texture and flavor was perfectly fine. The flan was nicely laid out on a plate with some tres leches and little fruity sauce swirls; a nice touch. However, the mango flavor was not really to my liking. While in total the flan tasted good, I would have preferred it without the mango. If you can’t tell by the expansiveness of this review, I liked the Latin Deli. The food is good, the portions are healthy, and the meal, flan not included, came to a total of just around $ 20 at $ 8 a sandwich order. Just as much, the guy at the cashier was friendly and doubled as an attentive server. While we experienced some minor setbacks, for the price and quality of food, a visit to the Latin Deli will be well worth it. I will definitely be back again soon. As of now, from only one visit, I can’t give them a solid 5⁄5 just yet. For now, however, the Latin Deli gets an easy 4.0 to 4.5.

This place. I mean, just this place. Small. Hidden away. You’ve driven by it a thousand times. But one day, do yourself a favor and stop in. Amazing coffee. Cupcakes. Breakfast all day. But the sandwiches! The Yoga is a great vegetarian option and the Cubano is to die for. Great environment. Outdoor patio.

Fighting traffic in Dallas on a Friday afternoon is no fun, so I decided to make a pit stop at The Latin Deli. It was a great choice! No outside seating on the small patio was available on this beautiful Spring day, so I decided to sit next to the counter and watch the kitchen in action. Friendly servers, focused cooks and delicious smells made it worthwhile. My lunch at the deli was definitely Latin: a Peruvian Butifarra sandwich with seasoned fries, a side of dipping sauce and a Colombian kola. All enjoyed while listening to Mexican music! The delicious sandwich was stuffed full of sliced pork, red onions, lettuce and what tasted like a sauce of cumin, turmeric, and garlic. And maybe some sort of vinegar? An end combination of salty and savory flavors with a tinge of sweet. Half of it was more than filling, especially with the ample serving of hot seasoned fries. A big plus that take-out containers were accessible and available to the customers. I liked all of it. An unpretentious small place with great food and what appeared to be a very happy lunch crowd. Myself included. :) If I’m in this area of Dallas again, I will definitely stop in!

I’m back again. This time I am trying their other location. Upon arrival it is significantly smaller then the downtown location and much much busier. I was barely able to snag a table inside which speaks volumes about the popularity in this area. I ordered my usual the chicken sandwich no mayo, no jalepanos and a 3 leches cupcake. The food was delicious. The only issue was with my 3 leches cupcake that was served very dry. Upon my request I was given more milk and all was well again. Overall my dining experience was great and I will start to frequent this location more.

What a lucky find! I saw Latin Deli in a food delivery app but decided to skip the fees and check the place out for myself. I’m so glad I did – and now I’m stuffed. The restaurant is tucked around a corner(almost literally a «hole in the wall») and easy to miss unless you’re right in front of it. Look for ALDI and park in the lot right off Northwest Highway. You’ll then see Latin Deli’s popular patio and restaurant. I had the Tomate & Mozzarella supreme. It was incredibly filling and very delicious. All sandwiches come with a serving of fries, covered in seasoning and with a spicy mayo dipping sauce. I also indulged in the sweets selection by getting a chocolate chip cookie. The cupcakes look very tempting for next time! While my order was a quick lunch, Latin Deli also offers a variety of brunch-friendly options like their chilaquiles verdes, crepes and muffins. Best of all, Latin Deli has several vegetarian options. There’s something to fit all tastes, the prices are right, the food made fresh and the service friendly. Get a fresh juice smoothie or specialty coffee drink if you’re thirsty. I’ll definitely be going back soon!

I’ve been to Latin Deli three times and have yet to have anything that is less than excellent. My favorite is the Cubano sandwich which comes with fries that are unique and wonderful. From what I can tell, everything is made from scratch. No steam tables here. You order at the register from a menu board which can be a little intimidating for a first timer. So many choices for such a small place. And, once seated at your table, be prepared for a wait. Good food is worth waiting for and this is good food. Very good food. My advise, take a book or a friend — preferably a friend to conversate with. And, since the place is fairly small, it can get crowded(and busy) at times. But, weather permitting, there is ample patio seating. Service is good. The prices are crazy low for food of this caliber, and the desserts wonderful. ‘Nuff said? I think so.

I’ll keep this one short and sweet. This restaurant is very small and located in the corner of all the stores/restaurants on that strip. It’s easy to miss but if you see Aldi, you’re very close so just go ahead and park. They open at 9am so I came for breakfast with my mom. The gentleman taking our order didn’t seem too friendly which was fine. I’m here for the food anyways so it didn’t bother me. My mom ordered the caramel cappuccino and absolutely loved it. We both ordered the chilaquiles with chicken and couldn’t have enjoyed it any more than we did. I’ve only had chilaquiles one other time and loved it so I knew this would probably be good. The flavor and different textures on my plate were just phenomenal. Huge portion sizes too! It’s cooked to order and I love that I can see the guy in the back actually putting it together. Seriously, I would drive back here any day of the week some chilaquiles. On another day, I’ve also tried the Oscar’s favorite with eggs over medium. It’s a breakfast sandwich served with French fries and it’s surprisingly delicious. I don’t think you can go wrong with anything here. This restaurant is just so authentic and flavorful! I’m looking forward to my next trip to try something else.

This hidden gem was what I needed on Saturday night. I searched Unilocal and this place popped up with a 4 star rating. It was absolutely delicious!!! I ordered the chicken sandwich with a strawberry lemonade and my friend order the pineapple pork sandwich with a mango lemonade. If I tell you I haven’t stopped thinking of this place since Saturday night! I’m going to get a sandwich today! I told the owner I was shocked it tasted so good

Latin Deli is a cute little restaurant nestled in a run down shopping center on the seedy southeast side of Abrams and Northwest Highway. This would worry me if it were a late-night hangout, but it is a sandwich and brunch shop that I’m certain sees most of its patrons in the light of day. So their schtick is huge sandwiches with a latin/peruvian twist and a brunch menu heavy on crepes,(both sweet and savory) and delicious-sounding egg dishes and sandwiches. I haven’t tasted them, but I saw some awesome-lookimg fresh vegetable juices that they make to order and the front counter displays gorgeous cupcakes and flan. So I tried the chicken sandwich… toted a the best seller on the menu. I have to say it was good… very good. It was on a french bread, plenty of well-spiced chicken, sautéed peppers and onion, sliced tomato and avocado, glorious avocado. Sandwiches come with seasoned french fries, that I could take or leave, but other people seemed to love them. So now I am eager to go back and try the crepes, and the desserts, and the eggs and some other sandwiches. The staff was very, very friendly, but keep in mind that the service is somewhat slow as they cook everything to order.

This restaurant has some things that need improvement, but overall we had a nice experience here. We came in on Saturday just a little after the lunch crowd died down. The staff is very pleasant and warm as you walk in. The woman working the counter had what seemed like a difficult time ringing up everything, but I was patient with her as I had two young children with me, and I knew they would have to be patient with them! We ordered several menu items because this restaurant has been on our list of places to dine for quite some time. 1. The Chilaquiles Verdes – This one is 555555555 stars, man! It is very authentic and tastes just like my Mexican childhood past. The crema they top it with is a little«grasa» if you know what I mean, but you simply mix it around or push it off to the side and no problemo! The portions are huge, and I mean GRANDE! We could have shared them and been contentos. 2. Butifarra(sandwich)-My daughter was not impressed with this sandwich. I would give it 3 stars. It wasn’t bad, but the pork was a little dry. They serve it up with some fries that are hand-cut and seasoned to paprika perfection. 3. Chicken Salad Salad– This was a small salad that came on a too-small plate. The salad itself was good, but I had a hard time eating it due to the size of the plate it came on. A larger plate or salad would work much better. I am looking forward to coming back for their sweets. They have Choco-Flan which is my all-time favorite Mexican dessert! Finally, the space: My girls and I were a little squished in this restaurant, but eating out is hard with a toddler in general. I could see how a quick brunch/lunch date with friends or your SO could really be nice here.

Excellent Mexican-Peruvian fusion type of sandwich shop that serves great-tasting sandwiches and are accompanied with great-tasting seasoned fries. I loved that they have a great drinks menu consisting of fresh juices and wide variety of coffee options. The other offerings of the crepes and salads are also nice. The sweets offerings can be improved though as I’m jaded with cupcakes. The chocoflan is a nice alternative though. No savory pastries from what I can see. I ordered what is apparently the best-seller, which is a chicken sandwich that consists of marinated chicken with avocado, tomato, mustard, jalapeños, lettuce, provolone, picked red onions, and garlic mayo in ciabatta bread. I had forgotten to ask them to take out the jalapeños since I don’t do spicy — but surprisingly the jalapeños did not make it too spicy for me and it was a very tasty bite. Very much appreciated that at least they can make jalapeños appreciated, instead of overdone. I would come back for the food, for sure, and this place is a good study spot during the off hours.

I’ve driven past this place a million times and finally decided to give it a try for lunch. There is a patio for outside dining, and the inside is modest but clean and cozy. Overall, it is an attractive restaurant, but on the small side. The restaurant is not a chain and I was happy to see a pretty good crowd for lunch so I hope they make it. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you. I waited about 15 minutes for a Cubano sandwich. I am not an expert on Cuban food by any stretch of the imagination, and I think I have eaten maybe three Cuban sandwiches in my life, but this one was very good. The flavors came together nicely and the sandwich was attractively presented. The one downside were the accompanying fries. I could not tell if they were potatoes or plantains, but they were rather limp and not crunchy. They came with a spicy sauce for dipping and it was pretty good, but I could not make my way through the soggy fries. The prices are reasonable and the menu is sufficiently intriguing that I can imagine coming back now that I know more about this restaurant.

Their três leches cupcake. Oh. My. Nom. Sooo good. Get it and thank me later. The flan? Eh. Not the best flan I’ve tasted in my life. I haven’t tried any of their food, only the two dessert items. But based on the reviews, I will be back for sure. Latin Deli is a cute establishment with delicious tres leches cupcakes and friendly employees. Looking forward to coming back for lunch one day.
