Some of the best tacos I’ve had in Dallas. The tortillas are fresh and the meats are very flavorful. I had the barbacoa and spicy chicken, both excellent. If you’re in NE Dallas and craving tacos, this is your spot.

These are the best tacos in central Dallas. The real deal. This is my abuelas house, not really but pretty close. Especially if you like some heat. No joke.

This place is great. My out of town friends loved it so much they ate here for breakfast EVERY day of their visit(4 days in row)! Food was delicious and cheap, and the girl at the counter was very nice and friendly. I don’t speak Spanish, but still felt very welcome here.

This is a great place, I was born and raised in Mexico, so I know about authentic mexican food. Their dishes are regional from north side of the country. They are not limited to what most people are accustomed to in Texas, like«fajitas tacos». If you come with an open mind to try different food; you will find a variety. What you can’t do is judge a restaurant business by a single meal. Keep in mind that their dishes are made from scratch. Try the gorditas stuffed with poblano pepper and mozzarella cheese, chile relleno, tamaleeees are delicious. Salsas are great with every meal… be adventurous, and enjoy

This hole in the wall place blew me away, i ordered the breakfast tacos(chorizo and egg on flour) they season their own chorizo here, needless to say I have been coming back every morning for them. I have also tried the verde, which is a top notch option for the spicy lovers, its very tender and flavorful. This place is the real deal, highly recommend to anyone who truly appreciates authentic Mexican food!

I love this place because it’s actual Mexican style food. I found out about it on D magazine where they won first place for tacos. They have 3 different types of barbacoa and they’re all truly amazing, my favorite however was the lengua, I am a baby when it comes to spicy and a lot of their stuff is so this was the perfect choice! Still full of flavor minus the runny nose! I absolutely love this place, have been a loyal customer for 5 years, never disappoints!

The food was good, we got carry out. They were sold out of some things, we came kind of late in the day, so you might need to swing by early to get gorditas or the like. I had quesadillas with corn tortillas, which were very good. I look forward to coming back, and trying more of the menu.

The corn quesadillas with cheese were quite tasty! The tortillas are very soft, fresh, and have that flavorful taste of being cooked on a seasoned grill. Mmmmmm. It came with seasoned rice, a small salad, and salsa verde. The prices are great! I’ll definitely be back! P. S. Make sure you can at least order in Spanish or say what you want. My Spanish is terrible so ordering was a little difficult, but that shouldn’t deter you. The food is worth the difficulty.

Great customer Service and Awesome tacos!!! The tamales are probably the best I’ve had, outside of homemade. The chips are also incredible too. I can easily see why D Magazine voted them D BEST Taco!!! Great job!!! Try the homemade flour tortillas… They are incredible…

Good tacos, this is authentic Mexican street food. Huge portions for pennies. Their salsas are great. Be aware there is no place to sit here. Grab your shit and go, very likely you will like the food and if you don’t who cares you only paid .27 cents for it anyway.

We love this little place! Especially when they’re making tortillas. It’s my favorite smell and transports me to Ojuelos Jalisco, bringing me nostalgia! *tear* Their chips… oh their chips and authentic salsa!!! The best!!! Their whole wheat tortillas are delish as well. I love stopping by for breakfast: huevo con jamon, y huevo con papa on corn tortilla please! I would give the whole 5 star but… The staff is really nice, especially Linda and her mom(owner) Gloria! Super sweet gals!!! Except for maybe two… One of the lady cashiers is kind of always very bitter! It’s pretty awkward and uncomfortable… I really wish there were someone else. Other than that, we love it and won’t stop going! ;)

Not a fan. The tacos come plain. No cilantro, onions, lime nor radishes are included. Just meat and a tortilla. They have some salsas that are on the counter for everybody to dip into. Raise your hand if that sounds appealing. No hands up? Shocking!

There must be an error in the rating system. Tacos were greasy and unseasoned. It was pretty cool to see the machine and the spicy chips were good. Unfortunately, if you want decent taco, just drive 3 mins to friendlys around the corner for better options and taste.

Is what it is: simple and good. House made tortillas, FULL tacos, fresh chips, homemade salsas, and pineapple jarritos(among other flavors) I love tacos. It is a dive taco place… The tortilla maker is loud and annoying and has a slight leak in the ceiling if it’s raining. Didn’t stop me from dining in on one of their 6 or so bar stools. In will be back to try the WIDE variety of tacos. Yum, dude. Yum.

This place is awesome and sketchy. Sketchy is a good sign when it comes to street tacos. Big fan and I try to make it up there a few times a year.

Got the barbacoa. Didn’t taste fresh or seasoned. Huge serving but not special. I also got the Chicharon. And that had awesome flavor but the texture was so mushy that I couldn’t finish it. It’s good, but not for someone that doesn’t like mushy, wiggly food. Salsas were really good, especially the verde cremosa. But I got some baked sweet bread and it was dry as shit. Overall i don’t know what to think of this place. The place needs corrections, hell the tortilla maker was under repair when I went, a pretty crucial thing for a tortilleria. It also has some good things though. Id give it a second go and hope to be much more impressed.

Those were some GOOD tacos! This hole in the wall is perfect, offering authentoc, cheap and delicious tacos! I tried the chorizo con queso, barbacoa(beef), bistek con papas, and pastor. They were delicious, with this barbacoa my utmost favorite! AND they were for 1.50 $ each! Also, the green sauce is really reeeeaaallly spicy! P. s. this isn’t much of a sitdown place, more of a pickup or takeaway. Still, SO worth the trip!

I was prepared to be amazed, but I ended up feeling underwhelmed. I just happen to be in the area. I ordered a guisado verde burrito and a fajita burrito. The burritos were on the skinny side… and that’s WITH beans and rice. And the fajita meat was definitely overcooked. The free salsa bar was cool, but sadly it was out of tortilla chips. So I ate what crumbs I could reach in the container. I got there around 3:30pm. Who knows? Maybe I just caught this place at a bad time.

This place is as legit as it gets. I’ve been here a couple times now and I’m to the point where I’m craving them every other day. I’ve had the barbacoa de borrego(ie, lamb cheek), pastor, guisado verde, guisado rojo, picadillo, chorizo y queso and chorizo and eggs. All unbelievable. And these aren’t skimpy tacos either, there’s a large amount of meat in them, all for $ 1.50 a taco. You get the choice of corn tortillas or flour, but you’d be making a mistake is you went flour. The corn tortillas are out of this world and are made right in front of you. I recommend the red salsa as it has a good heat, but I have a pretty high tolerance for spicy, so you might want to go with the green if you can’t handle the heat very well. They have some chips and salsa sitting out for folks to munch on while you wait for your tacos. As others have noted, there’s not much seating and if the tortillas are being made then it gets really hot in there, so I’d say this is a pickup and go place instead of an eating there place. There’s not much of a parking lot either so I’m not sure you’d want to eat off the trunk of your car or anything. I wish they didn’t close at 8. How am I supposed to get my late night taco fix when I’m on my way home!!!
