Awesome prices! Just paid $ 1 for 15 limes, that’d be $ 5 at any other«regular» grocery store. Same goes for the fresh corn tortillas. As a white guy(who lived in Mexico) I do get some funny stares from the other patrons on occasion, but the staff is always pleasant. They have all my favorite Mexican things that Kroger doesn’t sell… or sells at too high of prices. The bakery section could be bigger, and I can’t find asadero cheese at this location… but it’s close to home and convenient.

Great little Mexican grocery /café store. On weekends I like to get their Tamales and soups.

Went here for some fajitas on Labor Day. Big mistake, this place was crowded. We waited in a long line almost at the front door. The line goes up against the meat counter an you can peak in. It is very messy and not very clean looking. I’m not going to hold that against them because they were slammed and I can understand how hard it is to move fast and keep everything organized. We asked for 8 lbs of beef fajita and 2 lbs of chicken. For some reason we were only given 3 lbs of beef but when we saw the $ 21 price tag we decided 3 lbs was enough and we were jipped. Needless to say we will NOT be going back. The meat tasted great so at least there’s that.

A great little Mexican grocery store located in the heart of Lake Highlands. There is a phenomenal pepper and spice rack in the back, by the meat counter. The meat counter had all kinds of unique things that you can’t ordinarily find, like tongue and liver, and also the standards such as all kinds of marinated chicken and steak for fajita. The meat counter guys speak English, which is helpful, and the signs are in both Spanish and English. The prices seemed to be reasonable. I think I will start shopping here when I need Mexican supplies. Oh, and there is a taqueria inside too in case you get hungry. I will try those next time.

Avocados! Fajitas marinated. chicken or beef, take your pic! The secret of great grill-outs since, well, I’ve been in Dallas. Don’t come for the amenities, come for the goodness.
