Kutinfed Barber Shop

This place is legit.
Clean, professional. Friendly.
I’ve been searching for a convenient barber shop for my boys, African American, since home haircuts no longer cut it. (Pun intended).
All the guys were pleasant and made my kids feel comfortable. I loved the experience. The co-​owner, Black, had his kids there and they entertained mine while I was in the chair.
I have been to other barbershops that were crowded and unprofessional *cough*Razorz*cough* in their interaction between barbers and clients; just not an environment I want my kids exposed to if I can help it.
At Kutinfed, 3 of the 4 barbers worked on us. All did terrific. My fidgety kid had JP, who was calm and patient and earned the extra tip. I had D, who was talkative and funny and engaged me. My other son had Bryan who did a quick bald fade, top notch, in under 15min on a 5 year old. Legit.
They take credit cards which was a plus since I don’t carry cash much and I can leave different tip amounts depending on services and which barber gets my fidgety kid.
They are appointment-​only which makes planning ahead, by day or by month through their website, great (since I’m trying to schedule 3 cuts at the same time) and also, I can walk right in and my boys and I can get it started since they’re terrible at waiting.
The cuts are very reasonable ($ 15 kids/​$ 25 adult, add-​ons, extra services available, prices on website) given the professionalism and how nice the space is.
As Black’s son suggested when we left: «Y’all come back on Wednesdays, cause that’s when I’m here!»
I’ve found the barbershop we’ll be going back to.

High quality haircut, probably the best haircut that I’ve ever had. The attention to detail with these guys is next to none! Make sure to schedule an appointment on their website as it’s by appointment only. No sitting and waiting for your cut. The barber I used was «D».
