Julia A Liaci MD

First of all Julia and her staff are extremely talented and knowledgeable. They do a lot of good in their community and really care about women. They love it when women take care of themselves, but they also know how hard it is to manage things like breastfeeding, weight issues, etc. They help women with all kinds of issues, including very sick women, so I always cut them some slack if they’re running late (which is often).
I have had a few issues where I didn’t feel like I got the best care just because they were so busy, but I don’t think that’s a unique problem to them. So many doctors that office out in hospitals are having to rush off to help emergency situations, and their hands are often tied with hospital rules and administrative bureaucracy, so, again, you just have to cut them some slack.
If you’re looking for more of a hand-​holding experience when you’re not sick (i.e. healthy pregnancy), then I wouldn’t expect that from this office. But if you’re sick, need help choosing the right b. c, have cancer, or need an IUD (so few practitioners do those anymore it seems!), then this is your place.

I was very fond of Dr. Liaci, she was very energetic and knowledgable. However, after my second visit I realized that the wait wasnt long because I was a new patient. Both times I waited about 45 minutes to be seen.
After my visit I was told it would take 48 hrs to get my results back well that wasn’t the case. My results weren’t in til 4 days later (counting only weekdays). Then when the nurse called for the results she was very brief and didn’t help me understand them.
So I called back a day later to speak to the Dr. And they said that was not possible and I would have to make another In person appointment to speak with her. So I asked the nurse to simply list the name of the results and she said she couldn’t stop what she was doing to do that and she would call me back before the end of the day.
It’s highly disappointing that i didn’t receive the care of level of importance a patient should. Doctor is great, personnel and wait time is not so much.

Odd to give your doctor a review, but I always recommend her to friends and I’ve been seeing her for probably 8 years. She’s approachable, frank, knowledgable… total package. Big fan.
