I had very bad experience with Mat and Jetstream. He showed up late everyday, took long lunches and did shoddy work! It took 3 days to do what he said would be done in one Saturday. He damaged my ceiling, my ceiling entry woodwork and he showed up the next week with a carpenter that actually made the repairs that look even worse. He did the electrical work outside of my house and used a lot of white caulk on brown brick and a grey electrical box, and the box is loose because he didn’t have the tools to anchor I to my house. He left the old pan form the old unit in the attic, which I had to get down and dispose of. I am going to have an inspector com to my house to look at the job and hopefully the BBB, which is my next email, will help to either get this company reputable or help to put them out of business. I have never been so unhappy with anyone’s work and like the other reviews, he is rude. I have to wonder how long the HVAC unit he installed will last or if I am going to have issues with it going forward.

I needed some ductwork repaired at my home along with some minor airflow adjustments. When I was in high school and college I worked for my grandfather and uncle at the family heating/air business back in my hometown, so I knew exactly what needed to be done. I would have done all it myself, but I didn’t have the equipment or materials to install ductwork properly, so I decided to contract this job out. Jetstream provided one of the bids I received and even though he was was very late to show up to assess the job, having worked in the industry before I overlooked his tardiness. Once I received his proposal, I was very pleased with it included everything I wanted and the price was on point. I sent him an email to schedule the work to be performed, he mentioned a commercial; he was shooting and I offered to reschedule but he said it would be fine and that he would be at my home around 9−10AM. The first day he showed up at 11AM and stayed till around 1PM, then he said he was going to run to lunch. After he left I took a peek at the progress of the job and it looked good at that point. Around 4PM I called him to see if he was going to return since none of the ductwork was connected, he said he was shooting the commercial and apologized for the miscommunication. He eventually returned and hooked up some of the ductwork, then told me that I could run the heat for the night and it should be fine. He also stated that he would return the next day around 7AM. Once again I checked the progress and decided it would be best not to run the heat as the return duct work was not hooked up. The second day he showed up around 10AM, not 7AM as promised. He worked till 12:30PM before breaking for lunch, saying that it would not be as long a break today. He was right, it was only a couple of hours. Around 5PM I noticed he was carrying his tools out to his truck, so I went to check on the progress. I immediately noticed that I could see the attic light shining through the return air vent, which meant there was a sizable gap in the ductwork. When I brought this to his attention, he became combative but went ahead and«fixed» it with several coats of sealant. He also told me he would have to come back yet another day to install the dampers and balance the airflow. As he finished loading up the rest of his tools, I went into the attic and noticed a disconnected duct laying open in the attic. When I brought this to his attention he became very angry, then proceeded into a whiny tirade about how I was a douchebag for pressuring him to get this job done as he was fixing the hole. I informed him I was displeased with the quality of his work and he told me I was an A**hole. I then told him to send me a bill for the work performed and to get out of my house immediately. I inspected his shoddy work again and from growing up around the heating/air business, I can honestly say I have never seen more air leaks in a single system. I went to Lowe’s the next day and purchased all of the equipment and materials necessary to repair the damage he left in my duct work.
