These guys signed me up for a credit card before I even agreed to buy a ring from them. Even after I said I wanted to find a ring first before the credit check. Now I have to cancel this card that I will never use…

We bought our rings at a Jared in Kansas City and chose to get the lifetime care plan. That experience was wonderful, and though we drive everyday vehicles and don’t wear designer clothes, we were treated wonderfully. I take my rings in every six months, and this Dallas location has been the one I’ve visited almost every time in the past four years. We have been treated nothing short of royalty every time we walk in the door… and I walk in the door with a spirited toddler and now a new baby. The door is usually held open for me, and I am always offered water or coffee right after I let them know what I need that day. They have a small play area for children, which is a huge waiting bonus, though the waits for inspection have always been very short. My rings are cleaned at every inspection without me needing to ask. Everyone is friendly to my child, even when she is wandering around as I am at the inspection/repair desk. Last February, I was just over six months in getting the rings in. They told me that as long as nothing was wrong at that particular visit, we wouldn’t lose the lifetime warranty(which, of course nothing was wrong, because I’d not been able to wear the ring during my pregnancy). Whew! I thought my pregnant forgetful self had blown the warranty forever! But today was the best day of all. We stopped by after a busy morning at the aquarium, and both kids were sleeping like rocks in their carseats. I parked right up front and ran my rings and paperwork to the first person I saw at the front door. I asked if he could take the rings for inspection while I waited in the car with my sleeping children. He obliged without hesitation. We waited for a few short minutes, and he brought the rings and paperwork back to me right at the car. For those who don’t understand the importance of letting sleeping children lie, this is a goldmine of customer service. It saved us from a toddler who would likely have screamed and fussed the whole time due to the disorientation of being awakened mid-sleep. The baby might have slept through it all, but that’s hit and miss too. I was incredibly thankful for such great service. I noticed that in the past few years there have been mentions of poor customer service, but my experiences have all been good. People are kind to me(despite my current beater of a car), and they all look well-kept and professional.

Horrible customer service!!! I have been going to Jared’s for years never had any problems. My fiancé gets my engagement ring from this store and a year later(not even, 11months) a HUGE crack shows up on the day of my bridal shower. And they said there is NOTHING they can do. Absolutely ridiculous. Horrible customer service. We will not be coming back for any other pieces. I also would like you to know how much you are losing exactly, we have a HUGE wedding party. Each bridesmaid needed pearls. We also needed to purchase jewelry for our parents, as well as our wedding bands. So you are WELCOME! We will be taking our business elsewhere.

Came in with a mission to get my brother’s girlfriend an engagement ring. Told the sales rep what price price range… She helped us out greatly! Very friendly and seemed interested in what we wanted. Not too pushy and she gave us a lot of options to chose from. My brother was very satisfied!

If you shop at Jareds than you are paying too much– period! Yes they do have some nice stuff and its a great place to go shop to get an idea of what you want — but their prices are ridiculous for what you get. I found a 2 ct diamond there that I liked– there price was 22,000 — I bought the same quality and size of diamond at a different jewelry store for 9000 — Jared also had a setting that I liked and I took a picture of it(off of the website) to 3 different jewelers that make custom jewelry and they could all make it for ½ the price with same quality of diamonds and heavier on the gold. Not only are they over priced — when I was looking at spending over 25k in their store they were also going to charge me an extra 300 to change the head on the mounting and to set the diamond for me! All of the other jewelers were willing to do this for free! Yes they do offer a warranty — but guess what so does every other store — they don’t have anything special — yes I did have to wait a week to get my ring vs walking out of the store with it — but I don’t know about you but for me I will wait a week to save 12k !

Great place. I took my fiancé’s ring to be engraved and I was charged the same low price that I was quoted over the phone($ 17.99 plus tax). The lady that assisted me was very sweet and helpful. Their computers could use some updating to speed up the check-out process, and it would be great if they had a program that allowed you to see what the engraving will look like depending on font, style, etc, that you choose — that’s why I’m not giving a 5-star rating. But I was still pleased with the options I was given, and the ring was ready the very next day. Picked it up on a busy Saturday but I was in and out of the store in just a few minutes. Very quick and smooth. I never thought to call them about engraving the ring, but I’m so glad someone suggested it. I highly recommend this store.

My fiancé and I searched all over town for an engagement ring. We finally came to Jared’s as the last stop. When we walked in we were greeted and they proceeded to show us the engagement ring selection. We told them the price range we wanted to stay in. Most other jewelry stores didn’t like hearing our ‘average’ price we wanted but this place gladly helped us find a ring in that range. Once we found the ring we had to find the diamond. Because we chose a smaller diamond the salesperson brought out the jeweler to tell us a way to make the diamond stand out better in this band. So we took his advice and I am certainly glad we did. I couldn’t ask for more perfect ring. Not only is the band perfect but the diamond looks amazing! We had a great experience with this place. Both the salesperson(a lady) and the jeweler were great people. I definitely trust their opinion and glad they helped us find our perfect ring!

Diamonds. People say they are a girl’s best friend. I digress. I say shoes are, but diamonds run a close third, next to a good martini. See, my priorities are mixed up… Weird creepy lady when I first walked in. You look like a 40 year old trapped in an 18 year olds body. Frumpy and awkward. And to the guy who took my bling from me, before I even told you what I was coming in for…**the ross and rachel flap to you*** I wasn’t a satisfied customer when I went. They seemed a little to uppity for my taste. And for no reason. They have gorgeous jewelry, but come on now. We all know they aren’t a Tiffany’s or Cartier. I’m just saying. I went in to get my earrings that I got for Valentine’s cleaned, kudos to them for finding my warranty without me having to have the physical paper, and thanks for replacing the stud my godson knocked out of my ear. It was just an ok experience. I think I will go to a different one the next time I’m due for a warranty check.
