Worst facial ever, she spent about 10 – 15 minutes on my face, including clean, microdermabrasion and mask. She left me there with the mask on for 20 minutes while she was eating lunch. My skin got so red, bump here and there because of the microdermabrasion . Don’t waste your time and money here…

Still 5 stars… Interesting on the number of reviews that are«not recommended», but yet all sing the praises of Judy. What’s up Unilocal?!

Love J Gail! She’s part Sweet Mama, part Cruise Director, and part Witch Doctor. My skin looks amazing. Her office is located in the Preston Doctor’s Center, which is this incredible historic gem in Preston Center.(Whoever said the building was«old and outdated» must have just traveled an hour from their suburbia McMansion. I sincerely pity them for being unable to appreciate the historic beauty of this building. No matter, just one less person to crowd the M Streets, right?) Imagine old fashioned elevators, polished granite walls, quaint gold-leaf painted signs on all the doctor’s doors.(And watch out, google maps will send you to all sorts of crazy places before it gets it right.) J Gail is the(self-proclaimed) best kept secret in Dallas, which I can not argue with. She is amazing. Her prices are lower than anyone I’ve ever seen, but this is not your bottom of the line, bargain basement salon. She operates out of a cozy, intimate office with enough snacks and drinks to satisfy your inner lush. She is all about creating a pleasant experience for her customers and is BIG on customer service. This is not the place to meet girl friends and cluck on about your love life, this is the place to go after a hard day of work, unwind with a drink, and leave knowing that you’ve done something amazing for yourself. It feels more like a Speak Easy than an uppity Dallas Spa. Her treatments are state of the art, but inexpensive. No one else in Dallas even offers some of the treatments that she specializes in. And be prepared, J Gail is crazy-busy. Make your appointments well in advance and don’t try to reschedule last minute, the best she can do is get you in about a week later.

I enjoyed my appointment at J Gails for a microderm. I’ve had several microderms in the past at other places and this one was among the best. Rather than just do the microderm, Judy added a couple additional steps to the treatment experience. The location was easy to find and located right off of Preston Center in the Preston Doctors Centre. I like the building despite what another reviewer said. It’s an old school historic building that is full of doctor’s offices, dentists, psychologists a med spa and other professional services. J. Gail’s suite was very comfortable, welcoming and nicely decorated. It’s not a crazy busy salon trying to be hip rather it was very relaxing. As soon as I walked in the door, I was warmly welcomed and offered snacks and a glass of wine(and other beverages). There were a couple other customers finishing up and it seemed to be like business is brisk. Everyone seem pleased. Once I went into the treatment room, the table/chair was very comfortable and perhaps one of the best among the microderms I have had in the past. In fact, I did not want to get out of the chair. The whole experience was relaxing. My skin looked great. What I enjoyed the most is Judy’s attention to detail. I could tell she had a great deal of experience. She was very interested in what I wanted to accomplish with my skincare needs and had great suggestions. She also took time with my treatment and added a light peel. Overall, Judy was very pleasant and personable. I booked another appointment and would recommend to J. Gails to my friends.

The salon is located in an old outdated building. It is very small hardly enough room for parties as there are only two facial rooms each with one bed. Pros: She was nice and offered us a drink with lots of vodka! The shoulder massage felt good. Cons: She wore gloves while she walked back and forth between our rooms without changing them. She used the same product to massage my back on my face. The circuit breaker tripped and she had to go flip the switch, sounds like it happens a lot. Small tv with a picture of a fire burning was kind of cheesy. I would not go back and would not recommend.

The best BEST facial I’ve ever had! As soon as I walked in to this cozy place, Judy gave me a robe and fuzzy socks to change into. Then, she fixed a nice vodka martini for me and served some light appetizers such as hummus, turkey wrap, and pistachios. She started my therapy by dipping my hands in paraffin wax. Then, she tucked me in to one of one of her facial beds, and the rest was pure heaven! It’s been 2 days since my treatment and my skin is still glowing!
