I am a former customer. I have purchased many items here and was in today yet the staff had all changed and not one employee would even acknowledge me or muster up a hello, we will be right with you. In addition, the one behind the counter insisted on telling another customer a lengthy story about his nephew who was in LA and just signed to a record company. Who cares. I will NOT be returning.

The people who work at this location are absolutely some of the best customer service employees I’ve ever dealt with. Forget the furniture and painting we bought, we love them. The people make this place worth going to over and over. They are extremely easy to work with. They let me exchange a delivery with the floor model I liked better, ordered me a new bar stool when there was something minor wrong with the first one we got(was missing a peg on one of the feet), and they even drove up with me to their remote storage facility so I could get the barstools the same day, during their shift. I would recommend these folks to anyone looking for furniture. Couldn’t be happier with my experience with this location. The location further north at Fairview Station was just as nice, but understaffed when we went so it took a bit longer to get helped.

We’ve been looking for a sofa for over 3 years. To say we are picky is an understatement. On a visit to Dallas, we happened on IO Metro. It’s a beautiful inviting store and we instantly loved their furniture styles and felt at ease. The sales staff was extremely helpful and gave us our space just occasionally asked if we had any questions or if they could help. Over the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday, we must have visited the store at least 6 times before we purchased. Each time the sales staff recognized us and happily answered any questions we had. We just received our custom sectional from IO Metro. We purchased the item during a great holiday sale. This made the price comparable to low end chain stores. That’s where the comparison ends. The item is EXTREMELY well made: hardwood frame, no off-gassing, seams straight as an arrow, no extra or «surprise» charges and made in the USA. Compare that to the heavily advertised chains. The sales staff kept up informed of the order status and delays. Their contracted delivery service in the Dallas area offered outstanding customer service as well. I cannot say enough about the product quality, customer service and buying experience provide by this company. Excellent professional job by all.

I really like the furniture and decoration in here. And the price is great! I have bought some wall decorations from them and plan to get some furniture in the future. They are always having sales on top of the already good prices. I have noticed they don’t at all have the same things online that they do in the store. So it’s worth going in. They also have a large selection of art. I would have given them a 5 star, but the sales people are a bit less than helpful. They don’t greet you when you walk in and just stand behind the desk and never look up at you. The place is rather large, so if you have questions or want help, you are always having to walk to the desk to get someone’s attention because they aren’t ever going to look up from the computers.

Like the furniture? I did too until I experienced their business practices. My buying adventure began months ago with a salesperson whom facilitated the delivery process for a sectional and a rustic coffee table. He went on vacation and somehow forgot to order my furniture… and it sold out. The result? I was told to wait because other’s orders were placed and must be fulfilled. He left the company, in addition to the store manager. New management was able to acquire and deliver my couch but NOT the coffee table, even tho they still had a floor model. It delivered(via a third party) damaged and defective. The third party does not accept rejected merchandise. I showed the new manager photos of the damage and he was NOT helpful. I contacted corporate, even emailed the CEO. I was contacted and was assured a swift replacement by Beth at the corporate office. She called me back a day later and said she made a mistake and had no replacement items. She offered a full refund, and offered no help! I arrange a time to meet with the new store manager after this event to arrange a refund. Guess who got fired? You guessed it, the store manager. You get the trend. My issues remain unresolved and I hope you never shop this travesty of a furniture store. They don’t care about you, your money, and they sure as hell won’t be there when something goes wrong post purchase. Take your $ 3500 somewhere else.
