Hope is a Hidden Gem in the Lakewood area, my first visit was Monday and I really enjoyed my time there. My barista, Kay, whipped up a very yummy coconut and almond milk concoction that I enjoyed. The atmosphere is very quiet, perfect for getting some work done. The proceeds benefit a nonprofit in Honduras where their original coffee shop is located. I think I’ll visit this place every Monday.

Hard as hell(er.probably shouldn’t use that word with this being on the campus of the seminary) to find this place. Service is sweet, java is better than average and the seating is ample. Best of all, enjoy the non-Starbucks quality of it all.

I love finding new places to work and study. It’s a great feeling to feel motivated and accomplished, and Hope Coffee did it for me! The staff there was sweet, though maybe a bit understaffed. There was only one person working when I went after lunch. The only downside for me was finding exactly where it was. I parked on the thrift shop or something across the street because I was unsure where the actual shop was and asked a pedestrian. Once he pointed it out, I laughed at my scrubby self… The parking lot is HUGE but the shop is tucked in a little deeper. The coffee was good — it was my first time getting a blended mocha latte and I liked it! Will definitely be coming back for more.

This folks right here is some good coffee. Ask for the Burundi chemex if you’re a coffee snob. If you want something sweet get the mocha blended latte with some vanilla in it. Love the employees there. I dig.

The baristas are class! The drinks are great. And the prices are so cheap compared to other shops. It’s my fav. Salvation by grace. Sanctification by caffeine. And K just gave me 10% off… I love Hope Coffee!

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the coffee is delicious, and there’s always just the right amount of noise for an ideal study/work environment. If you need to get something done, and you need caffeine to do it, this is the place for you!

Excellent coffee, excellent service, exceptional cause! Kylee is one of the most talented baristas I have ever run across! Ask her to surprise you with a drink. You won’t be disappointed! All the profits go to fund projects benefiting poor in Honduras. You can’t beat this coffee house!

Hope Coffee is a sweet little place on Apple. It’s on the DTS campus, but it’s open to all. Love how comfortable the space is as well as the people that work there. They’re always ready to suggest a new fun drink, but a black coffee is a great option as well. Definitely a favorite for me.

Quiet place located off Apple Street in DTS. Quiet, cool, and comfortable spot for some brew. Nothing fancy or pretentious.

My go-to coffeeshop for a place to meet up with a friend, read a book, study AND I know my money is going to a trustworthy cause. The baristas are friendly, and even remembered my name after a few visits. Prices are actually reasonable, and they play good music(not too loud where you can’t hear your own thoughts, not too soft where it gets awkward.) They have self-serve coffee that you can get with your own mug, too. Try the peppermint mocha around Holiday season, or a chai tea latte with a shot of espresso. Only con I noticed is the drinks aren’t made very hot, so make sure to request it extra hot if that’s important to you. Also, closes early, so it’s not for the late-nighter.

Coffee and drinks are fairly average, I’d say similar to Starbucks. Lots of tables, couches and outlets available(definitely a great study spot). The coffee supports a non-profit organization in Honduras.

A wonderful restart to the Dallas Seminary on-campus coffee shop! They’ve hired some experienced baristas who are also students at DTS. Coffee is direct trade profiting a Non-Profit organization in Honduras.(And it’s the best price around!) Lobby is clean, cozy, and with plenty if seating, both tables and couches.
