I like the hickory flavor in the brisket. It was very smokey. The pinto beans are also very good. The bannana pudding is excellent. They are known for their birsket stuffed baked potatos which are huge! I ususally get one when I come in and have some left over. They will allow you to substitue a dessert for a side item if you get one of the plates. As far as price goes they are a little cheaper then most places. This is worth a stop if you are in the neighborhood. Today I went with the pork sandwich. It was okay. The sausage is also just okay. The stand out is the brisket. The place has a dive-like atmosphere. It’s across the street from Baylor Hospital which makes it very busy around noon. If you go at 11:30 a.m. you won’t have a problem finding a seat.
