Hang Em Hi Move Em Quick

I used this company to hang a gallery of portraits from Charis. It looked beautiful (although installation was very pricey) until one of the portraits fell off the wall taking another portrait below it down too. The fall damaged two picture frames, the wall, and my wood floor. James Smith, the owner of the company, offered to re-​hang the pictures that had fallen for ½ the price he charged me to install it initially. (How about that for customer service?) He never took any responsibility for the fall blaming instead a defective picture frame.
We elected to go with a new installer (Hanging Around Texas) as we’d lost confidence in James’ manner of conducting business. The second installer advised me that due to weight of these portraits 2 anchors, equally spaced to distribute the weight are necessary rather than the 1 anchor used to install them by James. In short, James’ work is shoddy.
James is a very likable guy as are his crew but these portraits cost us upwards of $ 50K total and I’m unable to recommend his services after learning what I have since using his services. After posting a review to Facebook, James contacted me for the first time. He offered to make good and assured me he was bonded and insured. I haven’t heard from him since. I expect a level of professionalism and I’ve been very disappointed with this company.
