I found Jasper’s tea! That smooth lavender tea that’s like a liquid drug is now mine to brew at home. The restaurant was kind enough to lead me to Globex which does sell to the public despite also catering to high volume clientele and restaurants. Online ordering is available but swing by if you’ve never been. They have a nice selection of teas/coffee, accessories for both, bottle tea/coffee and more. Staff is polite and willing to help. While there I picked up the Nectarine Lavender tea as well as a fragrant Vanilla Earl Grey.

A hidden gem, this is the place where I get my tea fix. If you want high quality loose leaf tea, good prices, and wide variety then make the drive to Globex. I originally found Globex because I asked Twisted Root Burgers where they got their Watermelon Iced Tea from and they pointed me here. Globex is actually a small warehouse with a store in front that sells to the public. Great people. I met one of the owners there. She was very down to earth and let me try a few new teas that they were testing. She was actually helping one of her regular customers who drank decaf tea, and she had blended a special flavor for him that he liked. Cool! Anyway, they have a printed sheet you can take home. It lists all the varieties and flavors of teas that they supply to high end restaurants around DFW that you can buy looseleaf. Also, instructions on how to make these as iced or hot teas. Globex is definitely a hidden gem and worth the trouble of visiting. They also have non-flavored green, black, oolong etc teas.
