Great place to donate all of your gently used items. This place has been around for many years and does great work for Women and Children. You’ll find lots of great items here since people from highland park drop off items all the time.

I am writing about the Genesis Women’s Shelter Thrift Store. A hidden gem in the Oak Lawn area. This place is top notch with women’s, men’s and children’s clothes, furniture and household items. Clean, neat and VERY well organized with private dressing rooms. Clothes prices are so affordable, one could walk out with several outfits for $ 50-​$ 60 dollars. I would classify this as more of a boutique than a «typical» thrift store. The clothes are donated and are in excellent condition, similar to those found at «re-​sale» shops. I have purchased several designer items. A recent find was an original Channel bag for $ 49.00! I am a frequent customer and it is quite satisfying to find beautiful clothes, great prices all for the benefit of a tremendous cause.
