I’ve been coming to the bazaar whenever I needed something handled at a great price. Of course at the flea market you’re going to find all types of different stores offering a variety of items. You also get to interact with the Hispanic cultures of Dallas and their restaurants give authentic Mexican food. It’s delicious and so are the sauces that come alongside it all. They have very nice jewelry as well and most people know that Mexico is notorious for have great gold jewelry. Here it’s greatly priced and not any of the cheap gold plated metals you commonly find.

I’v drove past this place so many times and always wondered why the parking lot was always packed on weekends and today I found out. This place is packed with vendor in little cubicles selling their wares. You’ll find pinatas, perfumes, quincenera dresses, shoes, boots, western wear, live animals, candle shops, tattoo parlors, barber shops, cell phones for sale, a Farmers Insurance agency, car accessories and eateries(just to name a few of the sites you’ll see). It’s pretty much a huge indoor market place targeted towards the hispanic community. Pretty young girls stand outside of the restaurants trying to tempt patrons to choose theirs. I didn’t see anyone of African-American descent and possibly only a couple of white folks but it was all good. I even found something to purchase!

This is hands down the worst place I have ever been to for food and a margarita. The flautas were about half the size of what was pictured on the menu, the blended margarita tasted like nothing but salt(ordered without and on the rocks) water mixed with slush, and our server asked us to order as soon as we sat down(no menus yet) and didn’t check on our table once or even bring over a glass of water. I wandered in this place about a year ago because I was new to the neighborhood. I had wondered why the place always seemed so packed on the weekends. What the heck is going on in there? Often they have an amusement center set up in the parking lot. It was like Disneyland for Hispanics! Always busy! The day I stopped in was during the week and it was freezing cold outside not many customers. I was greeted at the door by two lovely young ladies offering complementary hot Mexican Chocolate. Yum! The place is a maze of little booths and businesses and I felt like I walked off the streets of Dallas, Texas USA to Tijuana Mexico. I have fond shopping memories of growing up in San Diego and going to Tijuana to shop and also going to the dentist, not fun. So this was a special fiesta for me! The place was pretty empty as far as shoppers go but that didn’t stop the extremely loud music that added to the Fiesta feeling. I walked up and down the maze of booths stopping to look at different things and enjoying the feeling of being in a totally different country right nearly across the street from where I live. The shop keepers where sweet but few could speak English, what’s up with that? Even in San Diego/Tijuana they speak English. If I ever have a need for cowboy boots, hats or other Mexican inspired products I certainly know where I will come and I wouldn’t hesitate to visit again or bring a friend to share the fiesta atmosphere.

The lot was recently black topped and parking lanes painted so everyone can still ignore.

Awesome place. if you can sort through some of the cheaper quality things they have here you can actually find a great bargain on many things. They have very affordable furniture, table sets that would run $ 1000’s at Rooms to go, you could find them as cheap as $ 500 here! The food is great! You get to really experience a little bit of true mexican culture by just trying out a few things here. The atmosphere is not the classiest, or most upscale atmosphere there is, but the culture that surrounds the place makes it a thing to appreciate on its own. Overall, this is a good place for cheap food & cheap shopping but make sure you can sort out the cheap quality stuff from the stuff that is an actual bargain!

I love this place… seriously, I love this place. An amazing bazaar full of plenty of small, locally owned shops and restaurants huddled together under one HUGE roof. This place literally has it all. Now, much of the items here are targeted more for the ever growing and ever spending Hispanic community, but that in no way excludes anyone who wants a good deal on specialty clothes, shoes, home furnishings, services or goodies. One thing that really impressed me about this place is the way it is both organized and diverse. You have vendors selling literally everything from clothes to candy. Imports from Latin America flood this place and you can literally walk out with parts for your vehicle, your car insurance paid, a freshly polished pair of boots, a relaxing massage and a tummy full of delicious fajitas or seafood. Don’t let the size or the location frighten you off… this is a busy place. People are friendly and willing to make you a deal. Check it out!
