I actually was just in the neighborhood and needed to get my last few items for Christmas. I like this store– from the décor over the fruits and vegetable to the varieties of meat that they have. They have beautiful cakes as soon as you walk in and stations were different types of Mexican goods are being cooked on the spot. If I’m in the area again I’ll make sure I come back.

This is an authentic Mexican grocery store located in the heart of Oak Cliff. It does some serious business! Where else can you get an elote from the vendor out front, pay your bills, buy western wear, get your jewelry fixed and eat from a real Mexican lunch counter? Right here! Now I do feel the grocery prices for every day items was higher than in the suburbs, but they probably mark them up due to supply and demand. They have a captive audience and they know it. I got a silver ring sized here today while eating lunch and it came out professional and perfect in under and hour and for $ 7.00, who can complain? I love to eat lunch here. They have all the authentic fare plus the usual menu items for people who are scared to try something new. They even have a fresh juice counter in the store with fresh squeezed juices and fresh cut fruit for sale. They have a big area with tables and plastic table cloths so you can eat there or get it to go. Note to consumer: Habla Espanoling is not required– but is definitely helpful!
