I like the portions. I am not crazy about the effects the next day. I can not pin down what I ate that caused such a stomach issue. I will give this place another try hopefully next time will be better.

Love this place! Great lunch special and the chicken is always delicious and fresh. The desserts are also delicious!!! I love that this location delivers to nearby areas. I also recommend the barbacoa, chicken flautas, and the burrito.

Food tastes great, but will leave your gut hurting for hours. This has happened the last 3 times I’ve eaten there and has been happening to coworkers as well. I suspect a dirty cooking area. I also don’t like pulling up to the drive thru and hearing«tocka locka chica» instead of something in oh. I don’t know… ENGLISH?!

It wasn’t as good as El Pollo Loco, but it was definitely worth the trip. We got a chicken salad and an entire chicken meal, which comes with corn tortillas, an entire cebollo, two small containers of salsa — one red with tomato chunks and the other a green creamy sauce, a container with beans(appeared to have bacon in them), a container with spanish rice, and a half of a lime. The salad had celery, chopped tomato, regular lettuce, some yellow/orange cheese, and an entire small chicken breast, skinless, cut up into bite sized pieces. The items were packaged for transport in the car and nothing spilled, so that was nice. The whole chicken was cut up into an easier to eat 16 piece assortment wrapped in paper inside the plastic bag. The chicken itself could have been moister, but I’d still go back for more drive through flame broiled chicken action! They sell soda by the bottle or by the styrofoam cup, but through the drive through PA system, I thought she was saying«can», so I kept replying«can» which confused her even more because she was actually saying«cup». I’m sure she was like, what is wrong with this idiot.

Mesquite-grilled chicken? check Frijoles with smokey bacon? check Flavorful rice? check Salsa Bar where they don’t wimp out on the flavor or heat? check I have a new favorite lunch spot. Simply nearing the outside of this«fast food» restaurant is enough to get your mouth watering. Chicken + smoke + spice = WIN They run a special for 8.99 for half of a chicken, 2 sides + tortillas. It’s easily enough food for the hungriest of carnivores but the flavor… ahhh the flavor. It’s enough to make you want to start looking forward to your next visit.

If you love char-grilled chicken, this is the place to get it. My friend suggested I come here for lunch, and man, did I have lunch. He ordered two lunch specials, knowing neither of us would finish it. It’s chicken wrapped in paper together with a whole onion, a cup of rice, a cup of beans, and a foil wrapped bundle of white tortillas. I was about a quarter of the way through my meal, when I realized, «Hey, there’s only one leg and one wing». Yes, it was a half chicken. This giant ball of bones and delicious tender meat was only half of a monstrous chicken. Not that it mattered. I barely finished half the food they gave me. Not because I didn’t want to finish it. No. I desperately wanted to eat the rest. There was just so much. The seasoning on this chicken is amazing, but what’s really the kicker is the chicken itself. After 30 minutes into the meal(yes, I was savoring it), the chicken was still tender and moist. The trick? Keep it covered in the paper wrapping and only take out pieces as you eat them. As other people have mentioned, the green sauce is delicious. A mix between a tequila yogurt and salsa verde. You can smother the chicken in it, or as I found out, you can use it as a sauce for your hand-made tacos. I came on a Saturday lunch, and the place was near empty. But I hear the place gets packed on weekdays. Good friend, that friend of mine. Yes, I’ve only been here once, but that’s about to change.

Most delectable chicken tacos I have ever had in my life! My family and I always order the whole chicken combo for around $ 13. You get a perfectly cooked rotisserie style chicken that has been rubbed down with some delicious spices. You also get tortillas, Mexican style rice, pinto beans with bacon, and a roasted whole sweet onion. The best stuff are the condiments! They are a MUSTTRY. Super spicy and super yummy green hot sauce. The color is like an opaque mint but tastes like avocados, jalapenos, cilantro, and just utter deliciousness. I always take an extra batch home with me and top them on my eggs, pizza, and whatever else needs a little flavor. There’s also something which I can most closely describe as «Mexican Kimchi». It’s thinly sliced red onions, carrots, and cilantro that have been pickled slightly. YUMMI! Don’t be scared off by the slightly dive-y ambiance. This is a totally family friendly joint. I see families bringing their little ones here all the time. I have been eating here for nearly 6 years and always leave feel totally FULL and HAPPY!

Delicious! El pollo regio is WAY better than any other fast food chicken joint out there. Everything is so tasty and comes in large portions so you never leave hungry. Also, the food is always freshly prepared, from the chicken fire grilled in the back to the pico de gallo. My personal favorite is the papa regio, which is a giant potato stuffed with carne asada cheese and sour cream. Add three different fresh, tasty salsas and pollo regio is the perfect quick fix.

Fabulous charcoal-grilled chicken! The spicy green sauce is addicting – thankfully they give you twice the amount as the red sauce. Move over, KFC, Babes, Church’s, etc… this is the best«fast food» chicken house chain out there! My only complaint is that the grilling process may sometimes dry out the chicken and the hole-in-the-wall ambience isn’t suitable even for cheap dates. So take their tasty chicken to go, and enjoy that charcoal grilled taste in your own home!
