The spring rolls and egg rolls at Eggroll Express get better every year! The latest management team makes everything fresh to order. We drive a decent distance on account of the fried perfection and fresh veggies. The drive-through is one of the ones in North Dallas, and even though it takes a few minutes longer than average fast food, it’s always nice and hot when we get home! :-)

Filthy. Looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in 20 years. How does the health department not shut them down? Scary.

Worse Chinese EVER!!! The fried rice was greasy with dry chicken. The restaurant was filthy and the cashier was unpleasant. Very disappointed. Won’t ever return again!!!

10:30pm. Bad meal, just in general, I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Sorry but being honest.

Average Chinese food. Dine in is unbearable, never clean and I panic when I leave the drive thru. I always see rats in the back. Food is okay but I always wonder if it’s real meat or something else I am eating.

Good, fresh food, & monstrous portions for 5 bucks. You can’t go wrong at this place. It kind of looks like a dump but it’s good. Sesame chicken was good, vegitable entrees okay, egg rolls okay. Good overall value here for real Chinese food.

Cheap, decent, fast, and open late… what more can a person look or ask for in a restaurant. My personal fave is the Governors Shrimp. I know it is not the fanciest place, and honestly, I really don’t think dine in is the market share they are looking for, as much as they cater to drive thru and take out., yes, this is a Chinese food place that has a drive thru… awesome, eh?

Simply put, this is basic Americanized Chinese comfort food. I don’t believe anything is over $ 5.00 and they give you enough for 2 people. This isn’t fancy food at all, it’s just filling and satisfying. I had the Kung Pao and it was enough to feed me for that meal plus two more, Awesome! If your not too concerned about your diet, have almost no money, and are hungry as all heck, this is the place to go.

For cheap Chinese, it was fine. I had the shrimp in lobster sauce. It was not bad and I did not need the egg drop soup which I also ordered. The soup was extremely hot in temperature.

Not the prettiest restaurant, but it’s a great value. They give you large portions for a very low price. I’ve been to many Chinese fast food places in the area and this one is my favorites– especially after a night of boozing.

Some of the food wasn’t ‘bad’, per se, but it’s definitely not Chinese. Szechuan chicken was flavorless. Garlic shrimp the same, and without a hint of garlic. Chicken fried rice contained rice that was undercooked, fairly greasy, and again without flavor. Egg drop soup was just enough over-salted that neither my wife nor I could eat ours. Won’t be visiting this one again. On the plus side, if you want a bunch of food for very little $, this restaurant wins in that category.

It’s a shame I don’t have anything good to say about this place, it is the closest restaurant to my house. In fact I have actually tried forcing myself to like this place numerous times to take advantage of it’s convenient location only to be disappointed. Owners of Eggroll Express, please clean up the place and hire some chefs to revamp the menu so the food becomes delicious someday. I would love to be able to come back and write a very positive review. I also would love to be able to just walk to a place for food when I’m hungry.

Really, really, really cheap Chinese food that’s actually decent. Don’t expect amazingly good for $ 4.50 in a drive-thru, but its definitely better than I expected

This place was a desperation hunger find and I was not disappointed. It was 11pm and I had been traveling from Austin to Dallas as I was preparing to fly out early the next morning. I had my friend stop at this establishment and it was super busy. I ordered veggie lo mein and it was only $ 3.50. They use wider noodles than what is traditionally utilized in lo mein, but it had excellent flavor. It was also a giant portion size. I had a veggie spring roll, also delicious. This is NOT fine dining, so don’t take a date here. It’s a Chinese restaurant that has opened in a former fast food place. It has a drive through window still in use and a limited amount of items, but it was a great quick meal. My food smelled so good that when we flew back into Dallas, we hit Egg Roll express up again on the way out of town. This time I had the mushroom fried rice. Fresh mushrooms sliced up thickly into your typical fried rice. They were very generous with the mushrooms. Again, $ 3.50, a great deal.
