East & Orient Company

East & Orient is a stunning, beautiful Antique Company. This is not a small ‘shop’. Going to East & Orient is an experience for the senses. As you pass through the entry gate you enter a beautiful walled garden with a working fountain. You proceed up the stone staircase to the stunning door into the entryway. The Library with a warm fire in the winter is to your right. The first of many, very large staged showrooms is straight ahead.
I was surprised to see that East & Orient specialized in fine English and French Antiques as well as rare Oriental porcelain, paintings and beautiful accent pieces including China and Crystal. They also have a collection of 18^th & 19^th Century reproductions worth asking about. I initially saw their pieces on the
site before I realized they were located in Dallas.
John Bray, the director and Assistant Elliot are very knowledgable and easy to work with.
It is well worth the trip to Slocum Street to see this amazing showroom
