I’ve been here twice now and have really enjoyed both times! The food is excellent, the service quick and the servers are personable and know their stuff. My drink was never empty for more than two minutes, no matter how busy the servers were. I recommend Justin, he is super nice, told us some fun places to go to in Dallas. We are here for a month for training and Draft totally rocks. The only downside for me was that they didn’t have desert but considering they are more bar and restaurant, it’s understandable.

During my month long stay at the Sheraton Downtown Dallas, I called down and ordered good there for lunch quite a bit. Monica, the afternoon hostess, is always smiling and friendly. It’s always quite busy around lunch time, so I’ve never actually sat down and ate there. But Monica and their Cuban sandwich keep me coming back!

We ordered their $ 14 burger and chips, the burger looked great, but was the most tasteless burger I have ever had. Nothing objectionable, just nothing there. It was like eating a huge tofu burger. For half the price a Big Mac meal would have blown it away. I love potato chips to a fault, but these were so stale I could only eat a couple. The pickle was good. The service was fine. It was pretty quick too. Probably takes less time if you leave out all the flavor.

This bar was downstairs of my hotel. My friend and I came here for some drinks and a burger. Overall it was a good experience but they were out of some food that we wanted and it was pricey! But I guess everything is pricey when you are at a hotel. The service was outstanding and the burgers were delicious. Enjoyed it but just too pricey for my taste and budget for a trip.

Over priced, sub-par food, and its a 50⁄50 shot if you get good service. Very loud, if you want an actual bar/bar scene its okay.

Popped in here for a quick bite to eat. Ordered a balsamic spring salad with added chicken breast. Was quite surprised as how fresh it was. Normally these«hotel pubs» are packed with microwave faire. However, the chicken breast was tender and moist and the greens were crispy. It was well done… They do have several TV’s for watching some games.

This is a large — cleverly arranged — overpriced — very noisey — poor service bar inside of a 2 star huge hotel! Enough said!

I stopped by the Draft Media Sports Lounge because I happened to be staying in the Sheridan and wanted to grab a late night bite after flying in. The Draft Media Sports lounge is a pretty typical sports lounge. That being said, there is a lot to improve. The service was quite slow and pretty inattentive. After we finally got the attention of the host, we were told that we could pick any table we wanted. As I looked at the different tables, I noticed that many looked dirty and that many of the booth benches had oil stains and marks. It definitely did not make me want to sit on them. The higher bar tables are oddly shaped ovals that make it awkwardly close to sit on the same side and make it feel awkwardly far to sit on opposite sides. But, the 2 star review is more a reflection of the food and service than the cleanliness or décor(although they definitely did not help their cause). After we finally picked a table, we were brought food menus, but no drink menus. We looked over the menu and decided to eventually order a burger($ 14) and an order of their chips and guacamole($ 10). I realize that we are in a hotel, but these prices are absurd for the quality of food(and also for a sports bar…). The burger was alright and the produce on top was actually surprisingly fresh, but it was not particularly tasty. It came served with a side of «house-made» chips that were also quite mediocre. Definitely was not worth $ 14. The bigger ripoff though was definitely the chips and guacamole. The chips were your standard red and white, thin, generic-brand tortilla chips and the guacamole tasted like it came straight out of a jar. The chips and guacamole also came with sliced flat bread, which was essentially just cheese melted on a piece of pita. Not worth the money at all. I decided a couple bites in that I wanted to order a drink, so I attempted to call the waiter over. I ordered quickly and just ordered a beer but it still took forever to get to the table. I don’t understand when restaurants can’t get out drinks that literally take 5 seconds to pour, especially at a sports bar. All things taken into consideration, I will do my best to avoid the Draft Media Sports Lounge for the rest of my stay here. It really is unfortunate that it is the seemingly only late night option in the hotel…

Don’t order a Moscow mule, they have no idea how to make one. I’m pretty sure my drink was all lime juice and sours. No ginger beer and barely any vodka. Stick with ordering beer. The lighting is pretty dark too but that’s throughout the entire hotel. I will say the fried chips are good but could use some seasoning, even salt. The Reason for 3 stars is because they redeemed themselves on the buffalo chicken wrap the bartender was sweet and super nice, it’s really clean and they had fireball.

Never ate here or had a drink … Giving them one star solely on the fact they call themselves a «Sports Bar» but aren’t ordering the biggest boxing fight in years; mayweather vs pacquiao! … «Sports Bar and Media Lounge» oh the deception! Be honest and change your name to «A shitty hotel bar for middle age blading men trying to get laid“and call it a day!

Yikes this place could use some help. My friends and I were in town from chicago for the ACMs and stopped here for lunch. Service was so-so and pretty slow(only 4 tables were full). My friend ordered the bbq chicken sandwich to find a chicken bone in it… the meal was then complimentary which was good but should’ve never happened in the first place. My burger was good, but dont expect much coming here. Keep in mind this is a hotel restaurant as well.

This place is WEIRD. REALLYWEIRD. It’s a ‘sports bar’ in a HUGE four star hotel. It’s cavernous as well. Here’s the weird things. 1. Their menu is REALLY boring. Like overpriced sandwiches, apps and flatbreads. Who knew flatbreads were still a thing? 2. Their liquor on the other hand, was reasonable. I had 2 Manhattans with call liquor for like $ 12 each! That’s not crazy at all. 3. Service was really great.

Service was fast and friendly even on what seemed a pretty busy night. Very good martinis but watch out for high prices. It’s a hotel bar and there aren’t too many other options in this section of downtown Dallas, so be forewarned in the pocket book department. Food was just fine. A large and tasty burger featured toppings that included surprisingly fresh tomatoes, considering that it’s February and that restaurant tomatoes usually are like pink styrofoam. My one gripe about the burger is that it’s one of those constructions that is so high it’s impossible to eat. The bun choice in particular is all wrong and falls apart too easily. Sure, I can cut into it with my knife and fork, but then it’s not a burger, it’s meatloaf. The burger-as-big-as-your-head trend is pretty well established across the land so I shouldn’t pick on this place in particular, but it was such a cumbersome thing to eat I’ll probably avoid it next time.

The service here is excellent. I love the atmosphere and the employee discount I recieve. I’ve eaten here a few times since I’m staying in the hotel. The food is good. The prices are a bit high though and there isn’t much of a selection.

WOW, two nights in a row(week of April 22nd2014) we experienced one of the most inexperienced, or slowest, or most bitter bar staffs I have ever had the pleasure of being served by, Oh yes you heard right! I should be THANKFUL they would serve me a beer in an untimely(Averaged 15+ minute once ordered) manner. Someday this crew will wake up, realize they are paid more by their patrons in tips than they are paid in hourly wages… or not and it will continue to suck! Only good thing about this place is the pool tables and Karaōke Room/Champagne room in the back, check these out for sure!

The pros… they have a great TV wall to watch the game. It’s a hotel bar, but you don’t feel like your in a hotel bar. Food is decent. Negatives… Service always is slow. The prices are jacked up. Your in a bar with a bunch of businessmen in for a conference.

I was all excited to see there was a sports lounge right in our hotel lobby when we stayed at the Sheraton this past weekend. Well, that was the beginning of the end. We came in a couple of times after long business meetings to chill, have a beer, and eat some food. The spot itself is very spread out and there’s a ton of TV’s to watch whatever Texas sport that happens to be on. There’s also a couple of pool tables if you’d like to play and a karaōke room on the side. We just wanted some beer and decent food because there weren’t much to choose from at the convention. I don’t know if it’s because we are from California that we are spoiled, but we just couldn’t find decent pub grub here. We ordered the cuban sandwich and i swear mine had freezer burn because it was like gnawing into a brick towards the end. It was super small with hardly any ham and I couldn’t find the pickle for the life of me! Our beer was good… Stella…but you really can’t mess up on beer. We also ordered the artichoke and cheese dip and you could totally tell it was nuked because it was thin and the cheese was clumped on top. The service was pretty good and the bartender had a cure for the hiccups my husband had… put a packet of sugar on your tongue and let it dissolve. It worked, but the food didn’t!

For a hotel-based restaurant, this is a really good one. As a stand-alone, I would give 3-stars, but in the context of what it is, it’s really good. They maintain a good selection of beers, with some locals and micros in the mix. The entrée salad I had was fresh and crisp. The nachos my colleague got(and shared with me a bit) were good as well. Service gets a bit slow, but to be fair, it was packed, due to the conference I was attending.

For a hotel bar, this place was pretty awesome. Throughout my stay at the Sheraton, I mostly came here to meet up with people for drinks. They had a decent selection of beer on tap, including some local ales. I found the bar area to be a tight squeeze to get through, particularly when they were busy. On another evening, we hung out in the«lounge» area, and while I was afraid we’d be neglected back there, our server took great care of us. I always had a drink in hand. We also got pulled into some joke with the servers regarding a spoon? It was a fun night for sure. The best part of Draft is the private room in the back, which I think they spin off as a «video game room» but works much better as a private karaōke room! If you’ve never done a karaōke room before, Draft’s set up is excellent for newbies. Their collection of songs includes all the classics, so there’s surely something you can sing to. There were two mics, but on only one seemed to really be working, so that was disappointing. Also, the screen is set up at the front of the room facing the audience, so if you need the words, you’ll be turning around. The room only holds about 10 people before it starts feeling crammed. I can’t comment on the rates for the room, but you should definitely give it a try! I only ate here once, for lunch, and I had a brisket pizza that was actually pretty good. It was more of a flat bread, which I liked for a lighter lunch. Overall, it was quite impressive and much better than your normal hotel bar. For those of us that travel a lot, it was a welcome change.
