Don’t leave anyting valuable in your vehicle. Ours had the window smashed, trunk popped and our purses stolen. No video cameras in the area. Management here could care less.

I’ve got to admit that I was sorely disappointed. Have you ever just wanted to like something so much that when you finally experience it your just let down? I’m wondering if that’s what happened here to be honest. I put it on this pedestal and it got kicked off by the BIG bad expectation ogre. Went here on a Thursday night and the place was just dead. I mean there might have been a dozen people. I asked the bartender what was up and she said it’s always like this on Thursday nights. Evidently Wednesday(Ladies Night) is the busy week night for them. The upsides are that they’ve got a great patio, some friendly staff, and the obligatory mechanical bull(fun to watch other people try and hold on after they’ve been drinking). I’ll have to go back and give it a try on a Wednesday night and make sure that I’m there much later to see if it gets any busier. I’m hoping that it does because this place is so convenient to where I live that it’d be the ideal Honky Tonk for me. But I fear that Ogre is going to rear it’s ugly head again.

I am not huge into the two stepping but do like to watch and try every now and then. They play good music and have some hip hop dance tunes in between the country. It is not an intimidating country bar and if you have no idea what you are doing someone is usually willing to show you. I have been here a couple times now and am still not a fan of the $ 6COVER with no drink specials to back it up. A Bud Light and a Ultra ran us $ 12 bucks? Also if you go early as other posters have stated its dead so you are paying a cover to hang out with yourself? Also they charge a cover every night I believe, been there on a Tuesday and Wednesday and it was DEAD but still a cover. They love the cover. I usually am dragged here by a group on occasion so I put up with it. Can you tell I think the cover is ridiculous? LOL That being said, every time I have been here the bartender service has been horribly slow. Now I understand busy bars and having to grab someone’s attentions, but this takes the cake. Between trying to figure out who is the bar back vs. bartender and then instilling the will in them to want to help you is a task. I actually started waving-yes I know it was not polite and probably upset them– but after standing for 15 minutes AT the bar and having the bartender girl help pretty much everyone around me it was necessary. To kick it all off, after I ordered and received my $ 6 domestic bottles I stood for another 10 minutes holding out in clear view my money to pay her! It’s not always this bad but is usually pretty close even when not busy. The other thing I don’t get is that they have tables all throughout bit no waitress, seems like this would help. All in all I have to give it a descent rating due to the fact it’s not my scene but fun every now and then and my friends who do dance enjoy it but not as much as Red River.

Located in kind of a weird area– used to be Cape Buffalo but they redid the inside a bit. Has a big patio and they set up a cash-only bar in the corner of– which is nice. Drinks are reasonably priced and the bathrooms are clean. Do not go early… it is dead inside until close to 11pm. Good people watching and they play pretty good music. They didn’t have a live band but the DJ played a good mix of country and newer non-country hits(off the top of my head, I remember Bottoms Up and Party Rock Anthem). It was a fun night(though a big part of that was the good company) but I won’t be going out of my way to go back.

Went here for a girls night and it was a ton of fun. It never got so crowded that we didn’t have a seat. Had to wait a little at the bar, but never too long. The outdoor patio area was good for sitting outside when we were worn out from the dance floor. They play quite a lot of pop music between two-steppin’ songs so we could all get out there together. The DJ took requests and the other bar-goers were friendly and/or entertaining. Would definitely go again.
