I visited on high hopes based on a recommendation. But here’s my experience. * «OK» at best, mesh screen crust. * Sauce is decent. * cheese is very skimpy. It’s difficult to judge the cheese quality(e.g. is it made from whole milk mozzarella) because there’s just too little of it to judge much from. * Pie is undersized. I ordered a 20″, and received one that was just UNDER17″. At $ 17 for a plain cheese pie, being undersized and skimpy on cheese is not cool in my books. Additional Warning: About the price… So I ordered the 20″ cheese only pie for $ 16.95, but they tried to add on $ 2.35 for a topping –meaning they wanted $ 19.30 for the 20″(which is actually under 17″ — see pics). I asked why. They said cheese is a topping. I said I did not order«extra cheese», just the normal«cheese pizza» as is listed in the menu. At 1st, they insisted cheese is till a topping, and that the register can not ring in a pie with out at least 1 topping. After I continued to be unhappy, they called someone(perhaps the owner?) and apologized to me, and corrected it. I believe this was an honest error on their part, however, patrons should be aware and make sure this error doesn’t ‘innocently’ resurface. Overall, the I can’t really complain about the skimpy cheese, because maybe that’s just how they make them all. But I do feel jipped about paying for a 20″ and getting a 17″, which lowered my review from 3 to 2 stars. Again. just not cool. Any I did ask them about that while there, and their response was something like, «no, it’s definitely 20». So I measured it with their pens and napkins, went home, and figured out that it was under 17″. So again, very not cool, and not great attitude of them to just shrug it off. As I write this, and get frustrated all over again, I am tempted to lower my review to 1 star. I’m not the type to just write nasty things. So I’ve included photos of all… though I’m not sure if there’s a way to link the photos to my review, so you may have to just look through them all and figure out which are mine… sorry. — the overall pie so you can judge if skimpy on cheese or not — the measurements(against their 8.25″ napkins and just under 6″ pens) so you can see it really is under 17″ diameter. (I swear… after this, I’m gonna start carrying a tape measure in my pocket. LOL) — The back of the crust with the screening mesh patterns. Note: this isn’t necessarily bad, but more times than not it seems to be associated with more «generic» cooking techniques. I willn’t definitely say that’s the case here. The crust was «OK», not bad, not great, in my opinion. Great crust will be crisp, yet lite at the bottom. This is difficult to find in Dallas. So their crust was«average» by dallas standards in my opinion. I will add that I’m not a big fan of places that keep their ovens and pizza makers in the back behind closed doors, as this place does. FOr example, if I saw them makign it, and how little cheese they put on, I could of ar least had the chance to pay to upgrade to xtra cheese, and better salvage the pizza.

We called to place a delivery order and were told our area is «cash only». Not sure why a street in Stevens Park W isn’t good enough for credit but I will say I won’t be recommending this business as a good delivery option to anyone. It’s hard enough in Oak Cliff to get decent delivery — being rejected by a local business is just insulting.

Fresh house made pasta and pizza you can fold in half for bite perfection. Reasonable prices to boot. Lunch special $ 6 is a bargain.

This review is only for one dish. I’ve had a few other of their items, and while tasty enough, they weren’t spectacular. However, the cheese tortelini in putenesca sauce is extraordinary. I can’t even describe the sauce it’s like mostly kinda like pesto but with a bit of a tomato sauce semi mixed in as well. I typically don’t ever order pesto as it’s not a sauce I gravitate towards. This dish also has capers(never had them before), artichokes(good, but again not something I usually gravitate towards), and black olives(those I do like and eat with gusto). I don’t know what made me decide one day to give this special a try, but I’m now hooked. Whenever I order delivery food at work, this is what I get. That is unless I call to order and they’ve run out of cheese tortelini. So, David’s listen up: PLEASEPLEASEPLEASE make sure you always have plenty of cheese tortelini on hand.

Since I work in OC I’m always looking for a nice place, and who can go wrong with pizza and pasta? Having tried several of the highly rated pizza and pasta places. Thought I’d give these folks a try. Every time I call it’s a 45 min– 1 hr wait. Okay first time was the lunch hour and a rainy day. My order arrived almost 2 hrs later. When I called they said they were sorry but it was busy. The food was okay, I ordered fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and a large Cesar salad. might have been good when it was hot, but it was slightly warm and congealed. Next order on a non rush hour took 1 hour and 15 minutes. This was spaghetti and meat balls. Once again barely warm and the cheesecake was so-so no topping offered. Once again it was okay might have been okay had it been hot and cool cheesecake. Next I tried to order their slice of pizza(several slices of pizza) was told they were not selling pizza by the slice yet, but their menu clearly states pizza by the slice all day. Oh well I ordered another pasta and I had to wait another hour and 15 minutes. Bottom line food is okay, but don’t expect to eat their take out in less than and hour. I will next dine-in and update my review.

Very good pizza. Met David and he is so very nice and is very interested and customer feedback and satisfaction. Definitely would recommend
