I went to this place to purchase a cigar for my boyfriend at the time who was going to Vegas that weekend. I was surprised when I walked in. A few older gentleman posted on a couch watching sports smoking cigars. Someone helped me right away. Very nice guy who provided a few suggestions on what would taste the best, not necessarily what was most expensive. I picked one that had some pretty packaging and of course I don’t remember the name of. Well, apparently my boyfriend was the talk of the town when he went because it was so he says, the best one at the party. He seemed happy and that’s all that matters. I’ll definitely be going back again.

Friendly, non-pushy employees that are knowledgable about the cigar you want. Prices are right and the environment inside is nice as well. A really good addition to the already great lounge is that it is BYOB(bring your own bottle) so you can drink and smoke with friends. Downside is the place is a little small.

I went in here not knowing anything about Cigars. Rather than just push me into something super expensive, the employee(I can’t remember his name, he was real nice) talked to me about what I wanted and helped me pick out some cigars that we perfect for me. If you are new to cigar smoking(like I am) then this is where you need to go.

This place is the best. I never have to tell them what I want, they have it ready as soon as I walk in the door. The guys who work here are friendly and sociable and know what’s going on with me because we chat. Great place, although I’m only a cigarette smoker, so I know nothing about cigars.

OK full disclosure, I’m not a cigar smoker but I visited several shops while on the hunt for a humidor for a gift and this place was the WORST. First impression upon walking in, what did this room USED to be before someone tried to turn it into a cigar shop? There was a TV, a random table, a handful of guys sitting around smoking — I felt like I was in Dan Conner’s garage on poker night(Roseanne’s husband, not the football player). I walked in and immediately wanted to leave, but since the record scratched and the whole room turned to stare at me, I sheepishly told the guy I was looking at buying a humidor and he led me(5 steps) to a table against the wall that had a bunch of cheap, terrible, some in boxes some not, crappy humidors that ranged in price from $ 30 to $ 80. Definitely not something I would choose as a gift or buy as a collector. When I asked the guy some random questions that I knew to ask based on friends’ advice, he kinda stared at me like he wasn’t sure what I meant. This was unacceptable. Luckily someone came in and asked to buy a pack of cigarettes and I was off the hook. I thanked him for his time and hurried out, before I inhaled any more smoke. This was by far the smokiest(and dingiest) shop I visited on my mission. In addition, it shouldn’t matter but it made a difference to me, this guy was wearing basically an oversized stained up «fat guy watching football at home on a Sunday» shirt, and faded out dad jeans. Not really someone I feel compelled to spend a few hundo on a gift with. This place is probably ideal if you are a regular guy who wants to just go in and grab a smoke, or if you are a frat boy who hasn’t yet decided to upgrade on your cigar smoking experience. I don’t recommend it for someone needing a very knowledgeable and cultured staff or experience. Also, I grabbed a card on the way out and their logo is TERRIBLE. I would have thought it was an Ed Hardy boutique not a cigar shop. Go to Up in Smoke or City Cigars if you want to keep it classy! :)
