I transferred from CA to TX in May due to work. Having such little time to find a place I came across a house for rent managed by CW Sparks. I moved out the first week of September. So I lived there approx. 4 – 5 months and had nothing but issues. Just as the other reviews stated, its not easy getting ahold of someone. When I left a message, my call was return about 75% of the time. My AC unit broke 5 times over the four months I was there. Now they DID get someone out promptly to fix it, just as I said earlier. It would sometimes take a few days to actually speak with them about it. The bulk of my issues were with the move out process. I called in and was sent to Ronica. She asked me to email her a 30 day notice so I did. After a few days of no response I called back. I spoke with a gentleman who while courteous, did not seem to know the process so he referred me to the website and I was instructed to complete a few steps. He said I wasn’t supposed to email a 30 day I was supposed to do it on the website. So do I email my 30 or do I do it electrically? A month later I received my final bill. !!!WOW!!! Talk about getting stiffed… I was told to pay a $ 35 fee for an AC Filter that I DIDNTREMOVE, the AC repair man did when he fixed it one of the 5 times because he stated I did not need two of them. Which is correct because the unit in the attic already had one, I did not need one in the hallway. Not to mention they are $ 3 at home depot. Then I was asked to pay $ 25 for an installation of a door knob. Really? The door knob I replaced because the original did not have a lock. Upon move out I left both door knobs with the original placed at the foot of the door, so they literally had to unscrew 2 screws, replace, rescrew. BAM $ 25. Third I was asked to pay $ 15 for having to replace 3 light bulbs. Just seems to me like they find any reason possible to get your money. So when I called in about it I was given. There’s nothing we can do. Charging this crap was completely unnecessary and sham on CW Sparks for conducting business this way. Go ahead CW and respond to my review as you have the others. Still can’t deny that 4 – 4 customers think you suck.

Horrible property management company. They take forever to send someone to repair something that is broken. My AC has gone out multiple times and they take days before getting someone out here even if it is over 100 degrees outside and almost as hot inside. I had informed them I had an infant but that did not seem to matter. Management will never return your calls or respond to your emails. DONOT rent with this company. It’s been a horrible experience.

As a tenant, I will tell you that the customer service with the office staff is lacking. They are rude, and rarely answer the phone. When someone does answer the phone I am usually transferred to a voice mail of the person that I am actually trying to reach. Someone rarely returns your call. I have tried communicating via email and still no response. Most times when I did get to speak with someone I always got the feeling that I was inconveniencing them. We once received a notice in the mail saying that we had been evicted and that we had 3 days to vacate the premises. It took me 7 days just to reach a live person by phone to dispute this issue. Just to find out that it was a computer generated mistake. The maintenace on the other hand was great. If I owned a property I would think twice about letting the current office staff manage it!
