Crap, crap, crap, crap. This place was the worst. When ur dead on a Saturday night you have a problem. Device was bad, wine was bad, pizza cost $ 2 for every topping? What is this? The Salvation Army? No thank you. Never again. Bye

Wait Staff was excellent, though the waitress was ready for us to leave rather quickly. I had Calamari to start. Very disappointing. It was tough, which is the cardinal no-no of Calamari. I sent it back and instead of comping it, I was offered a different appetizer. My dining companion had the cold antipasto. It was a bowl of lettuce with a couple slices of pepperoni and a few slices of processed cheese. Around the side was ham rolled up with processed cheese sliced. I then had a cup of minestrone. It was a brothy vegetable soup with potato chunks. No tomato and no pasta. Odd. My dining companion had risotto which he liked. I had salmon piccata, which I quickly realized was an ordering error. The side of pasta was good, though needed more butter, then a side of alfredo sauce to keep it from being so dry. The salmon was a large piece of salmon, overcooked, dry and not good with piccata. The sauce was good. LOTS of lemon. Capers were the largest I’ve ever seen. Neither a good combination with Salmon. Should have had the chicken. Garlic toast was plentiful and brought fresh frequently. It was quite good. Overall, I will not go back. It was an expensive mistake.

I’ve been coming here with my family for years and we LOVE this place! After church, it’s a nice and close restaurant and has remarkable food. We got close to the owners wife and even if it’s been nearly a year since we’ve been in, she remembers us. The bread is delightful and my whole family eats at least 4 pieces each. We all get something different. I usually stick with linguine alfredo or tortellini Italiano. But even if you’re not feeling adventurous and just want spaghetti, it’s to die for. The meals are large and can definitely fill you up. The atmosphere is so cute and very much reminds you of an authentic Italian bistro. If you’re around in the area, stop by!

Unfortunately I totally forgot to take a picture of our entrées but they were delicious! We had chicken piccata, chicken marsala and cannelloni. I’ve been a Cremona fan since before the fire at the prior location behind Texas de Brazil. I’ve eaten at Cremona off and on for years. Every single meal has been excellent. The service is always friendly and attentive. The pasta has always been perfectly cooked and tender. It is a lovely little setting, that can even be a tad on the romantic side. My only wish is that they add a real Caesar salad to their menu. I strongly suggest you try this gem, they even have their own free parking lot which is such a plus in the uptown area! Go get your pasta on :)

My girlfriend requested pasta one night and she found Cremona on Unilocal. It is only 2 blocks from where we live, and it had good ratings so we decided to try it out. I am not a big fan of eating out now, mainly because of money(spending too much in Dallas) and health reasons, but I was hungover and did not feel like cooking. We were very surprised with Cremona. The atmosphere was very nice and quiet. Our server was very friendly and helpful. They looked to have a good wine menu, however, we did not get a bottle. I did see others around us that were drinking wine and it did look good. My girlfriend ordered the angel hair pasta with vegetables and a cream sauce, pretty much she combined a few things on the menu. I was between the angel hair shrimp scampi and baked ravioli, which I ordered the ravioli. The meals came with a soup or salad, my girlfriend got the soup that night and got the Caesar salad. The salad was fantastic! The Caesar dressing was more of a mayonnaise base and not acidic, and it was not drenched all over the salad. The soup was their house Italian soup, I believe, which was good but my girlfriend said she wished she got the Caesar salad after. They did bring out garlic bread to snack and it was very good as well. It was just a simple loaf sliced into thin slices, toasted with garlic butter and salt, simple and good! Our dished came out soon after, we did not wait long. The angel hair portions were big and it was perfect for my girlfriend. The sauce was light but still creamy. There were plenty of veggies in each bite. She could not finish her plate but we took it home and saved it for lunch the next day, which it was just as good. My baked ravioli was awesome! There were 6 or 7 ravioli’s drenched in there homemade meat sauce, with a slice of mozzarella cooked with it in the middle. The sauce was great! It did not taste too salty. There was plenty left after to eat it with the garlic bread. The meal was not heavy at all. It filled me up just right. We were pleasantly surprised with everything about Cremona. I have lived in Dallas for about 5 years now and have not been to a great Italian place. I ma very glad we went there and will definitely be going back. I will try the angel hair shrimp scampi next. Also, from what I am hearing on Unilocal,we will try their pizza as well.

This was my first time at Cremonas I loved that it had its own parking and the inside was super cute it’s an old building with modern renovations … The servers are so nice and make you feel like they know you! I had the caprese salad and the monstacoli both were good… I would visit again. I gave this restaurant 3 stars because I came with a party of 7 and the server got a little sloppy with our tickets towards the end.

Great prices, great portions. Fast and quick service. AWESOME parking situation for an Uptown location! Linguine Aglio was good, but not as good as mine! :-)(I add more garlic)

Very charming! My husband and I came for dinner on a Friday evening and there was a keyboard player right next to us playing soft, romantic music but not loud at all. It was lovely. We got an appetizer, an extra salad, and 1 entrée and we were so full. Prices are extremely reasonable at this cozy, uptown get-up. We would definitely come back!

Went this weekend. It’s actually fancier on the inside than you would think looking at it from the outside. We were seated and our waiter came over and took our drink order. The sangria was pretty good. Then came out the fresh garlic bread. That was yummy!!! We ordered the homemade bread as an appetizer. It had cheese and tomato and garlic and sautéed onions. That was amazing!!! Our entrees came with soup or salad. Both were pretty good. Then the entrees came out. I had the fettuccini Alfredo and my boyfriend had the spaghetti and meatballs. He said his was ok. Mine was pretty good. Very creamy. But needed some salt. As we were getting ready to leave a guy came in and started playing the piano. That was way more enjoyable listening to the the Amy grant music that was playing the entire time were were there. But the food was decent. So I’ll be back!!!

I went here for lunch for the first time today. The food was very good(especially the garlic bread and fried mozzarella!). However, the service wasn’t very good, especially with the restaurant not being very busy. It also took a long time for the food to come out(about 30 minutes). I don’t often go to Uptown, but I wouldn’t be against returning to the restaurant to give it another try. It did have a nice atmosphere, which would be nice for a date night. The parking lot was tiny, so if I return, it will not be during peak hours.

First off the service was wonderful and the prices were very reasonable. Wonderful atmosphere inside. We sat along the windows at a table for two which was cozy. Hot, crisp bread was delivered to the table which was a yummy beginning and ending to the meal. It was wonderful with the leftover sauce on the plate. Nice salads to start the lunch. I enjoyed the creamy Italian dressing. We ordered lasagna and the Cremona’s combination meals. The mixture of red and white sauce was nice. Meals were tasty. We enjoyed a glass of House Chianti and a Malbec with the meal. We will definitely visit again. Can’t wait to sit on the patio on a pretty day.

I have been meaning to leave a review for awhile about this cute, little tucked away gem in uptown. I’ve only gone around dinner and have never once left this restaurant disappointed. The atmosphere is perfect inside and out, and makes for a great date night.

Came to Cremona for date night and absolutely loved it. The wine list was not extensive but there were plenty of options. The waiter did not recommend the house wine so we ended up getting a Pinot noir. There was a sweet woman who brought around fresh, out of the oven garlic bread throughout the meal. I’ve never seen a restaurant do this. We couldn’t decide between tortellini alla panna or the gnocchi with cream sauce. Then we saw that they had the tortellini alla panna in an appetizer version. We decided to split that for an app and then do the gnocchi for our entrée. Both were wonderful and flavorful! Finally, we ended with tiramisu and it was delectable. Definitely save room :) Our waiter was honest, kind, and took good care of us the whole time we were there! We will definitely be back here!
