Yeah, not so great. The dishes were pretty hit or miss, with most of the chicken dishes misses. They were all kinda dry and stale. I’ll grant that I came here at 3:00pm on a Friday afternoon, but they were already charging«dinner» prices, and one would think the food would be fresh. The service was good and, again, some of the food was pretty good, but the food quality to drive time ratio just wasn’t up to par and I probably won’t be back.

I’ve always seen this place so me and the wife gave it a try. The only thing that was good were the chicken tenders. I wish them luck but we’ll never be returning again.

How bad was this place? Let me count the ways. 1. All the food was luke-warm at best if not cold. 2. My friends brockley beef had pale old slimey chunks of brockley. Looked like they have been mixing old with new food. 3. The crab rangoon was flavorful but cold. 4. The pork rolls were just bad… I mean baddddd 5. The only two cold items that were ok at best was the sesame chicken and the orange chicken. 6. The baby octopus was cold and chewy… more so than when fresh. 7. The shrimp in both the seafood and fried varieties tasted and looked as if it had been reheated and mixed with fresh. 8. I swear it looked like black mold on the ceiling tiles from moisture damage. 9. The fresh cut onion was setting off the ice… any moron knows onion is what causes food poisoning in potato salad becaue it attracts bacteria. The warmer it gets the worse it becomes. 10. Generally low quality food. Decent service though from the greeter and the waitress. I would venture to say this place woukd be an excellent training facility for food and health inspectors! As a matter of fact I might just call the Dallas Health Department! Both of us started feeling sick immediately after walking out the door within 5 to 10 minutes, we were both hunting for a restroom! Thank goodness for imodium, lol. Both of us like Chinese buffet. The problem with this place is, bad management, bad, bad everything all way around! Just wasted a huge diuretic is waiting to destroy your day! Here it is almost an hour and a half later and I’m still pinching my butt cheeks together I’m afraid the fart! Goddess forbid I sneeze!

The buffet food here is mediocre, but the service is outstanding! The first time I went in was mid-afternoon for a solo late lunch, and I had the most courteous, authentic, pleasant, enthusiastic, and helpful server I have EVER had at any restaurant. Like I said… the food really isn’t great, but I would go just to have a conversation with the staff.

This place is over priced $ 9.15 for one buffet and one tea. From one that loves buffets, this one sucks. Little in the area of choice and food quality is low even for a buffet. A plus, the service was great.

During the icepocalypse of early 2011 my girl friend and I were hungry and ventured out on the iced over roads of Dallas in search of sustenance. Burger King, McDonald’s and just about every single place around was closed. But not Country China Super Buffet! We got some Beef Lo-mein extra spicy and some Orange chicken to go. It was good and was enough food to keep us fed for several days. He even had the really really super spicy mustard packed in the togo bag instead of those awful packets of mustard you’d normally get with take out. The owner is always very nice, the service is great and food is steaming hot and hits the spot. We did go back during off hours to eat at the Buffet having ordered take out several times and been happy. But WHOA momma, it was bad, really bad.
