Very good selection of beer available, often still having stock of limited releases beers long after they have disappeared from other area stores. Check the back wall to see what special releases they have on hand… never know what you might see hanging out back there.

This used to be my favorite local craft beer shop but not now! They double the price on all limited release beers. For instance they wanted 23.99 for a Pumpkinator that I got at central market for 8.99! Really! FYI they have Prarie Bomb @23.99 and bourbon county stout @12.99. I do not care if they are the only place in Dallas that has the beer I’m looking for, I will never go back here!

Talk about a convenient store! This one’s right around the corner for me. I usually go there for a 6er, but it has gotten better recently. Ever since the Bottle Shop moved in across the street, with their large selection of microbrews, the selection at the Corner Stop has gotten better. I figure they took advantage of the distributor being on the block with a load of good beer. Their prices are a bit high, but I guess that’s the price you pay for convenience.

This place is awesome and their selection is unbelievable. I’ve been on the hunt for Lebanese wine and figured I’d have to go to some specialty store to find it. Stopped in on a whim and lo and behold, several lovely bottles of Lebanese wine, all well-priced. This is going to be my go-to wine and beer store from now on.

I was turned on to this store by a coworker a few years ago, and it just keeps getting better and better. They have a great selection of craft and import beers, rivaled only by the Whole Foods on Park, and they always seem to be on the cutting edge of season and rare beers. For example, this is the only place in all of Dallas that I was able to find Firestone Walker’s delicious Parabola and Dogfish Head 120 Minute IPA. Very friendly staff, and great prices. It is also nice just to be able to run down the street and know I can pick up a cold bottle of Moët Chandon Imperial at a great price. Corner Stop only sells beer and wine, however the owners also own Greenville Stop(right next to Thai Thai and John’s Café on Lower Greenville). Greenville Stop has a great selection of liquor and alcohol at great prices.

This is my quick go-to booze joint in the area. Located just off Greenville across from the old Whole Foods, this small convenient store holds a pretty good selection of wine, beer and even Sake. As soon as you walk in, the über sweet girl at the front welcomes you and the owner offers his assistance in picking a wine, beer or liquor. They aren’t doing it just so you will buy more… I think they really understand how important is it to treat a prospective customer well. I was pretty shocked at such great customer service because I figured it was just a normal convenient store. They carry some of my favorite Cabs(the wine, not taxis) including Coppola, and at a good price too. Have a fave but they don’t carry it? Tell the owner, and he will keep it in stock. Pretty cool. I will definitely help keep these nice peeps in biznass.
