Great place to stop for an amazing morning breakfast! Staff was all very friendly, the store was very clean and everything look to be very fresh. They have great breakfast specials like the morning rush. It’s a flat bread with egg bacon cheese and a small coffee for under four bucks! All of the food tasted fresh, the coffee was good and I really enjoyed the outdoor food court seating area.

Yeah. Was here for the National Speech and Debate Finals. Needed a bite to eat. Definitely regretted it. The pros: 1. It’s easy to find in this so-called shopping center located in the at a food court near a Marriott complex. 2. Decent prices for their food, but we’ll get to that part. The cons: 1. So I rolled the dice and chose their Cuban sandwich(aka Cubano). I think this thing would make Cubans flee back to Cuba. It was so bad. Poor excuse for bread, small servings of meat, poor excuses for pickles(little round pickles have no place on a Cubano). Che just rolled in his grave at how capitalism has allowed the destruction of this treasure of a sandwich. 2. Not going to lie but the staff is less than attentive and a little surly. I know it’s a food court. I know that some people can be a little rushed or even rude. I make sure to greet people when I order. It makes a difference but they were not in the mood to deal with anyone that day. I must have come right after a major rush and they seemed stressed. I would say hit this place if it’s a question of time or nothing else is really open. I’ve usually had good meals at Corner Bakeries but this made me second guess them as an option.

Below average location, because others I’ve been too are pretty consistently good. Here, service was just sub-par. The girl who took my order was too busy joking around with co-workers at first to pay attention. When she finally asked for my order, I had to repeat things several times to get the order straight. My order was slow coming out, but noticed employees(I guess on break) coming out with plates of food. Once I got it, it was okay, but not as good as I’ve usually had.

Actually wasn’t in the plazas to get Corner Bakery. I went to get sushi and miso soup from Sushiyaa BUT, they were closed, so I stopped by Corner Bakery instead for some soup! Coming in, I expected the cashier to say something, seeing that I was the only one in line at the moment, but she didn’t say anything. When I took my order, she was very rude and had an attitude. I was asked«What do you want» as she slouched and glared at me. Then as I waited for my order I overheard her speaking to the customer after me and the customer was having a hard time hearing and asked her to repeat the price, and the cashier repeated it as if she was lecturing her or upset. Come on, I’m pretty sure that’s not the first time you hear that on a job working with the public! Continuing on, I saw her and a co worker reacting the same way to other customers coming in. I understand if you are in a bad mood, but that’s not the type of service that should be given to a customer. As far as the food, my food was decent, but no one wants to return to a place that makes you feel bad. I’ve eaten at places that looked so bad, or places that have had terrible food, but I usually am pretty generous and round up if I truly believe customer service rounds it up from a 1.5 to a 2 star on Unilocal(because I mean you obviously can’t give 1.5 stars), but the customer service I experienced here, was just so poor, very disappointed.

Food is great, but service is always horrible. Everyone is always too busy doing other things to get your food to you in a timely manner. I go here at least 3x week since I work in the plaza, and at times it takes 15 min to get a simple latte because they forget about it(I normally have to ask and remind them I ordered one). Food takes at least 20 min. I’ve been to other corner bakeries and they aren’t nearly as slow as this one.

Everyone was too busy not helping people ring up orders. The manager in the blue shirt called up the next customer and so I walked up he proceeded to pick up the phone and started answering the phone completely ignoring me all together I waited but he kept ignoring me while he was talking on the phone. then another lady walked up to the cash register and rang up two other people that got in after me I waited in her line she rang those two people up and walked off and started to do other things while I’m waiting there still not being helped yet while the guy in the blue shirt walked back and forth after he got off the phone and I’m still standing there. Another gentleman walked up and the manager guy said let me take your drink order real quick and I was pissed and walked out never got my food.

I often use this corner bakery for office meetings and such when we need to order in food. And they always do a great job. Today though they went above and beyond. We placed a lunch order for delivery only to find out(at the time we were expecting the delivery) that *we* made the mistake of placing the order for the wrong day! Corner Bakery stepped up though, pulled up our future order and rushed to fill it, they really went the extra mile and we were able to get the food well before the meeting was over. Wheeew, life savers. I love this location, the food is delicious and the employees always friend;y and helpful. I would recommend if you are just stopping by to grab something to eat or if you are placing a catering order.

This corner bakery café has the best staff. I was staying at the Marriott and going here for breakfast every morning. One of the cashiers knew my drink by end of week. He personally walked my latte to me each morning(and other people their drinks as well). I wish I could remember his name to let a manager know. he was definitely above and beyond on customer service skills.

I had a salad for lunch today and was feeling calorie deprived, so I went by Corner Bakery late this afternoon to redeem a birthday coupon for a free dessert item. I selected the chocolate bundt cake and then decided to purchase one of their little«mini cupcakes» because I had never seen them before and they looked tempting. Not only did the nice young man behind the counter give me my birthday treat, but he threw in the little cupcake treat for free!!! What a kind & sweet gesture! That automatically gets a 5-star rating in my book. The mini cupcake was delicious and just the perfect size to satisfy an afternoon sugar craving! Thanks Corner Bakery! You guys rock!

Weekdays I try to eat very healthy… So appreciate that their huge menu has the caloric count by each item. This keeps me in check) sometimes). Every once in a while I break and treat myself to one of the many delectable desert options. When I’m short on time I put my order in online and pay; that way I just swing by and pick my order up.

The service is good here, though one of my major complaints about Corner Bakery is that the menu is so darn hard to read until you are right in front of it which makes deciding what you want tough. I have a monthly breakfast meeting here with my mentorship protégé. It’s easy for us to have privacy to talk and the good food(and great coffee) that you would expect from Corner Bakery.

If you’ve been to a Corner Bakery you know what you are getting here. Sandwiches, salads and soup(and amazing oatmeal). But the staff at this one really puts them above and beyond. I’m here in Dallas for a convention of about 3,000 people and this is the best option in the Plaza of the Americas. The staff is very friendly with the influx of people. They must have accidentally given my order to another person and actually recognized I had been waiting for quite awhile. They made me fresh food and gave me $ 10 in coupons and owned they messed up and were beyond apologetic. It’s easy to mess up when you suddenly have 1,000 people ordering but it’s not easy to keep a great attitude. This Corner Bakery should be a model store for this franchise.

I go back and forth on Corner Bakery. The service is always friendly although I do agree with one of the other reviewers who said they are somewhat prone to mess up orders. The food is usually really good, but can be a little hit and miss. All in Corner Bakery falls into the category of a place I have no issues going to and am good with but also probably don’t crave or seek out.

They got even better! I walked in, and they greeted me, opened an additional register, and I was out in all of 4 minutes with my soup and couple of extra rolls. The soup was piping hot, even after the 8 minutes it took to get back to the office. The soup, Spicy Thai Coconut Soup was spot on, rich and flavorful, with large chunks of mushrooms, chicken, peppers, and a broth worth its weight in gold! I appreciate the service today, and even got a smile and thank you on the way out.

One of my favorite places to eat! The food is always delicious, it’s not overpriced, the atmosphere is comfy/casual, and it’s a great place to meet up with friends for lunch.

Five Words… Damn that Oatmeal is Good!!! Glad that the Westin City Center is directly connected to a food court. Who knows what one would drop in dollars for 3 days worth of breakfast at the hotel restaurant? Having previously experienced the Oatmeal at Corner Bakery in Chicago, IL, there was very little doubt that a repeat visit to this franchise would be bestowed. After all, if the Oatmeal consumed in Chicago was indicative of this franchise, then one is in for a treat. Service: Friendly and efficient. After placing my order, the waitress requested I take a seat. 5 minutes later, the food was brought to my attention. All of the employees were friendly and helpful, especially when one was in desperate need of a napkin. Oatmeal: Nothing fancy, nothing out of this world. The application is constructed using hearty oats cooked in skim milk that’s topped with sliced almonds, granola, sliced banana, brown sugar, and a drizzle of honey. Despite the complexity in its array of ingredients, the taste of the Oatmeal was superb! Patrons will find the hominess derived from the Oatmeal’s consumption to be soothing and hospitable. The calming warmth derived from the heartiness of the oats is amplified by the nuttiness of the almonds and granola. The natural sweetness derived from the brown sugar and honey is augmented by the earthiness of the sliced banana. All components of the application combined to create a welcoming breakfast for those cold winter days. Nine words to end this review… The Best Fast Food Oatmeal One Can Ever Have!

It’s a Corner Bakery so the food is pretty much the same as all of the rest of them, it’s pretty good but nothing special. For breakfast I usually get the Swiss oatmeal which is delicious, thanks go to the lovely Shayna P. for telling me about that. For lunch I usually order the trio with the tuna salad, chicken salad, and the seasonal fruit cup or sometimes I will get the uptown turkey sandwich(another recommendation from Shayna P). With that being said, this location is pretty cool and unique because it is located in the Plaza of the Americas and a lot of the tables are located close to the ice rink. This is entertaining because you can have lunch while watching and laughing at all of the kids fall down. Not that I personally do this, but one could if so inclined.

First of all… I’ve sworn this place off a million times due to messed up orders. They have yet to get the order right, however the manager is always doing his best to fix it… and by fix it I mean throwing $ 5 gift cards at me. Not this time though! This time it sticks. I went down at 3 p.m. to get me a blueberry muffin. There’s usually one or two left in the breakfast bread basket. Just my luck… there’s one there. I’m next in line and the second the gal says can I help you, a worker swoops in from the back, grabs said blueberry muffin and takes a bite out of it! I’m dumbfounded. I just stand there like I’ve been slapped. I say, «Nope, was gonna have a blueberry muffin, but I guess not.» It was one of those moments when I wish I’d had my wits about me so I could go off on a proper rant. I should have said: «No, some half wit just took a bite out of the last blueberry muffin like she freaking owns the place. The food is here for the customers ie me not you, and while Betty Apron over there is welcome to BE a customer she should have to carry her happy butt out here and stand in line. The blue berry muffin is mine, either have her hock it up and mash it back into shape or ger her butt in back to make me another. And if you don’t I will call security and have you all beaten.» You know… I feel better now. Think I will call the manager and see if I can make his day a little more surreal.

This location is really nice because you can eat and watch the ice skaters go by on the ice rink inside this giant food court. Even though it’s really crowded at lunch, the service is very fast and the food is very fresh and delicious. I tried their new Lentil soup with a salad, and it was just divine, as I sat and watched other people eat their lunches. Okay, that sounds creepy, but the ice skaters were too far away and you’re surrounded by other lunch folks so it’s kinda hard to help. For dessert, try the brownie. I got it free one time cause they screwed up my order and OMG, it’s fabulous!!!
