It’s a little ruff. Trash bags over the smoke detectors, A/C is either all or nothing. Not the nicest part of town.

Where do I start. The furniture is very outdated. The rooms have the old tube televisions. I used the lobby bathroom and it smelled just like my room. Room smelled like mildew and smoke. Hotel is surrounded by topless bars. I had maid spray/deodorize the room and now it smells like mildew and deodorizer. I would not recommend this hotel at all. I have stayed at cheaper hotels and they were better than this dive. Was planning to watch a nice game of football but I feel like I’m back in 90s with the outdated media.

The other reviews seem pretty accurate. Shady part if town. Insect problem. Other than the housekeeper, the young man working night audit was the only employee to smile and say hello. With a little more pride and effort, the breakfast probably could have been to brand standards. Was pretty disappointed about the tvs. Service is lacking. Had no wifi issues, that was good.

Really? Should this hotel really have the word ‘comfort’ in it’s name? I was told to check in at 3pm. I was right on time… right on time to walk to my room on the 3rd floor of the hotel through an undercover sting operation of a group of 5 police officers lining up 4 prostitutes in handcuffs. Wow… I really feel«comfort». I couldn’t wait to get in my room and cozy up into bed… I was concerned about the women since two of them were crying and the officers were in plain clothes. I didn’t know if it was an undercover operation, or if they were kidnapping them for human trafficking.(We are in Texas!) I reported it to the management who seemed totally cagey as if they were in on it. They kept telling me they’d review the video footage. I finally called the police station since I was concerned with all the stalling of the hotel management and nervous about the welfare of these women. I found out from the police it was an organized sting and was thanked for checking into it. Finally, I got a call from the hotel manager(2 hours later), saying the police do this«regularly», sometimes without notifying them. How comforting indeed. Later that night, I saw another prostitute exiting the stairwell. To each their own, but this is certainly no family hotel. The only thing that comforted me was that I didn’t have a black light wand to see what was on the bed and floor. I can tell you there were some very interesting stains on the floor and a phone and clock that didn’t work.

Had no issues, accommodating for the business trip … I recommend adding an in room dining menu. Other than that as long as there’s a fridge I can deal. Smells clean looks clean.

We did not feel safe at this location as we had never been to Dallas and didn’t realize the amount of strip clubs nearby. As two female travelers this was very unsettling. Upon arrival the attitude of the staff at checkin was rude, cold and as if we were wasting her time. Unfortunately, every front desk staff member during our four day stay had the same attitude. Our first room was very very cold. Understandably it was frigid outside so we turned on the wall thermostat and waited 20 mins for the heat to kick in. When it did not we called down to the front desk. She talked to me like I was an idiot that didn’t realize it had to be controlled by the wall unit. I assured her that I had used the wall and that would she mind sending up someone to take a look at it. She responded that there was no one to send up as he had gone home already. We waited a few more minutes and then called down again and thankfully the front desk member said we could come downstairs and get another room. The second room was comfortable and warm. However, it was right across the hall from the pool chemicals which were so horrifically strong that we hated to open our door. Also the room is next to the outside side door and so we heard people all night long trying to get in the locked side door. Clearly there is a sign letting guests know that the door is closed after 11 but unfortunately by hearing their conversations, many were inebriated and vulgar in the things they said. Adding to the uncomfortableness at this location with the men’s club just a building or two away from the hotel. I do want to say that the food was a nice welcome to the stay we had at this location. We were very disappointed to find out that breakfast didn’t start until 7am as we were told that it was a 6am time when we called ahead. We would have found another hotel that started breakfast before 7am had we know as we had to be on the road before breakfast was open. We will not be staying at this location again and will make sure to leave a review for further travelers as I wish we had known what kind of location and staff we would be dealing with.

Oh my. Where to start? From the outside, the place look half way decent even though it’s located two doors down from the strip joint, Spearmint Rhino. Inside, the lobby looks like from a film set from the 80’s. Complete with plastic flower and a nice fish tank with crooked frames. The receptionist was pleasant enough but that’s the highlight for this poor excuse for a hotel. The room has very cheap cloth furniture in the«suite». There is a sofa alright but no closet. Just some sad locked down hangers against the entry door. The bathroom gives off a weird odor upon opening the door. This is going to be a tough 5 days stay!!! Spend a little and at least attempt to spruce up this sad joint. I’m deeply disappointed. Cheap doesn’t have to be sad!!!
