Chipotle Mexican Grill

This chipotle sucks. The barbacoa looks gross. This would be the last time I eat here

I go to Chipotle a lot. At least once a week, sometimes more, and this has been the best one by far. I work one block away form another location and I would rather get in my car and drive the ~10−15 minutes to go here rather than eat at another. Not only does the food just plain taste better here, but the staff are awesome! They’re a joy to talk to and I’m happy to see the regulars working when I go in to get my dinner.

Let’s get something straight: Chipotle is amazing.
Now this Chipotle? Awful. There’s one reason for that: it’s slow as molasses. I mean, there’s a line at every Chipotle pretty much constantly. But for some reason, instead of a line taking 5 or so minutes at the usual Chipotle, it takes 20 – 30 minutes at this one. Why? No clue.

I live right by this location and I get these massive cravings for a burrito bowl. I try to show some control because I always want to eat the whole thing! The last few times I’ve been in this location, it has been a wreck. Seriously. The people are flinging food around and it has been so sloppy that by the time I get it, I don’t want to eat it anymore. This week they were rolling a burrito for the guy in front of me and the look on his face was hilarious. It was like a wad of burrito-​ish-​ness. I could get over that maybe… the craving is so big! But the last two times, it hasn’t even tasted good. Tighten it up, guys! I’ve actually started considering trying Freebird’s-gasp!

I know, I know, Chipotle is a chain yada yada yada. But I know for a fact that not all chipotles are created equal (see: mesquite chipotle, webster chipotle), and so I must proclaim my love for this location.
The parking lot, albeit, is small and can seem rather annoying, but the store is so well managed and proficient they have people in and out in no time. Like honestly if you enter the lot and it’s full, if you stick around for around 10 seconds there will likely be 4 people coming out and leaving an empty space for you to park.
The food! So good. This is one thing pretty consistent throughout chipotles, which I love. The guac is better than any of it’s competitors and the sofritas and veggies are always so fresh.
The really stand-​out thing about this location through is how speedy and efficient, yet still uniquely polite it’s employees are. This place gets a crazy amount of traffic, but I’ve yet to see the line go more than halfway to the door. Keep doing you, Chipotle!

I love Chipotle, as do all red-​blooded urban Americans, but this location needs work as far as crowds and efficiency go. You will frequently wait 15 – 20 minutes at this location (unless you go during lunch hour when all the speedy seasoned veterans are working). When I went tonight I finished paying before my burrito was ready– I looked over and saw the contents of my burrito being delicately and slowly scooped by the burrito artist into a perfectly centered, circular mound, and then he delicately and slowly rolled it up, of course. He was doing this despite the line nearly being out the door (it has to be VERY long to do that at this location).
It wouldn’t hurt for them to open a location closer to SMU, as their students seem to make up quite a bit of the customer base here.
I may very well drive to the Lakewood location next time (assuming it’s any better).

I swear they must put crack in their cilantro-​lime rice. It is SO good.

This is one of my favorite locations. They give a hearty serving of meat and the steak is marinated, tender and succulent here unlike some of their other locations. I’m glad I stay so close to this one because they’re not all created equally lol.

Love everything about Chipotle as their food is very fresh. Also, they give you plenty and the line people are very fast and polite. Would highly recommend this location especially if you have to get in and out under an hour. Try it at least once, you will return.

Love everything about this place from the free antibiotic meats and steroids, to watching them prepare all of your foods fresh! They have some of the best guacamole ever! Try it your wont be disappointed

I love this chipotle. The line usually moves pretty fast and the bowls are always amazing! However, last time I visited, they were out of cheese and didn’t tell me until my bowl was already filled with rice, chicken, and beans… It was a sad day.

Seen one chain restaurant, seen them all? That statement is not true at this Chipotle. They are consistently better than all the others!
Look, I eat a lot of Mexican food, and a decent amount of that is at Chipotle. Like, if you were looking at a pie chart of all the Mexican food I eat, a small but quality slice of it would be devoted to Chipotle.
Where was I? Yes, Chipotle needs pie. Wait, that wasn’t it. But that would be a good addition to their menu after adding queso and delivery to the options.
Back to my main point though, why this Chipotle is better than any other Chipotle! Well, the service and food has always been good, but the first time I went was truly exceptional.
Let me paint you a picture of the first time I visited this Chipotle. It began when I walked in and realized no one else was in line. As I approached the counter I realized that all the planets were in alignment, everyone was beating their high score in Flappy Bird, and the Aggies were going to win the NCAA Football Championship because my friends, the good employees at this Chipotle were putting new fresh trays of not just white rice, but fresh trays of freshly grilled steak and mixed guacamole as well. All at the same time. Just for me. One day I will tell my children about this day. And then they will tell their friends. And so on until the legend of the man who ate at Chipotle at the perfect time is whispered as people wait in line at Chipotles around the world.
I encourage you to go to this Chipotle too. Lightning may strike twice, you never know.

This place is amazing! Though they have been here for a while, but I just recently went and OMG it was the best food ever!!! I got the burrito w/​chicken, cheese, veggies and hot sauce! I love that you get so much food and at a great price!!!

Chipotle never disappoints.

I adore Chipotle. It is a great go-​to spot for fast food that will not only taste good, but sit well on your stomach as well.
This is a good location for them. You know what I mean! The service and function of the place! The food is always fresh and they know how to stuff a burrito without breaking the thing (I’m looking at you, Lemmon Ave location…). The service is fast and with a smile and efficient.
They manage to not skimp on the ingredients but still stuff and roll the burrito properly. This location has never let me down!

This one actually gives you the right portions instead of like the one in mesquite where they give you ¹⁄₈^th of a spoon of the serving.
I always get a veggie bowl with extra rice.
Chips are awesome.
All the food and meats are good.

I like this location. The service is always great. I usually order the soft chicken tacos with tomatoes, corn salsa, sour cream and cheese. My husband loves the seasonings on the rice and beans that he puts on his burrito.
The chips and salsa, though overpriced, are excellent. Make sure to get the hot salsa. It is the best!
This is the perfect option for a quick dinner that is affordable and of good quality.

This location easily cracks my top 5 favorite locations that I frequent. Oh wow, that feels weird typing out. But as you can see in other reviews of mine, I take my Chipotle very seriously.
The service and quality of this location is among the best you’ll find (save for the 75/​Forest location). The friendliness of the staff is also pretty great. Once time in college (when I had even less money than I do now), my card got declined and the guy let me have my bowl for free on the promise that I pay for it next time, which I of course did.
The one aspect of this location that is lacking is the parking. It has about 15 parking spots. If you go there during a rush, there is a chance you won’t find parking. I always go 15 – 30 minutes before or after a rush and it’s worked out so far.
