Chico’s

Laura and her trusted associate Brenda Kay (known as BK affectionately) are wonderful!
I would consider myself a little «young» for Chicos, but as I headed back to work after a long hiatus (marriage, baby, etc), I needed new work clothes that were professional, yet comfortable. My style is a button-​down shirt, black pants — very conservative — but I do like color, and occasionally like kahki’s or white pants too.
I stopped in SPECIFICALLY because I wanted to get their wrinkle-​free button down shirts.
I was helped to find my size (I wear a size 4 on bottom/​size 6 on top) because Chico’s has their own sizing sytem that starts at 00. I checked out all of the colors I liked in tops, then I wandered over to the pants section.
The sales associate was so nice that she arranged to «find» the shirts in the colors they didn’t have there in stock, and have them shipped to me NO CHARGE. Talk about great service!
Now, here is where they REALLY SHINED:
A week later I drove past the shop (I go down Lovers every day to and from work) and I saw a huge sign outside saying that there was a monster sale going on. I called and spoke with Brenda Kay, and she said that if it was within 10 days, they would adjust my receipt. She told me that I should see Laura, the manager, that afternoon and she would let her know I was coming.
I had spent OVER $ 900, so adjusting it by 20% was a HUGE savings for me!
I met Laura and she is a doll! I was in a hurry, so I left her my credit card details and my receipt and she adjusted everything carefully, making sure that my items that were on sale at the time of purchase AT BETTER PRICES were left at the lower prices.
I had added some new items to my purchase when I popped in, so when I picked up everything, Laura had it all packaged up for me with a personal, hand-​written note thanking me for my business. How awesome is that?
I can’t say enough good about Laura and her staff! If you are looking for a great place to shop for things for work, or play, you should DEFINITELY go see Laura.
