Cherries

I have driven by this place a million times, and have always wondered about it. Based on a friends recommendation we popped in here Sunday afternoon. A bunch of regulars were there and we joined them on the patio and had a great time. A chick even bought me a drink! Win.

Don’t know how Cherries is today but before the owner put me in bad place… don’t really want to go back… want to see how it is what is this #bundle…they need to fix the dance floor

Used to believe in this bar and the people that work there. Then I started helping them out hosting shows on Friday nights for local charities. I found out that how many of them are just in it for themselves and steal from the bar, each other, and even the shows that are there for our charities. If looking for great drinks, yes go see Nick or Sassy. If looking for thieves or drugs, well those can be found here too. Watch your wallets though. If looking for a great time, I would suggest any other place than here.

Fun times with a great crowd low key dress down no cover 1.50 wells at 12 Malibu rum six bucks (what I been on ALL night) would come back again. cool place not fancy at all. I wouldn’t come by myself but the people I was with where amazing.

My tranny friends love Tin Room and Cherries, so I got drug here on a Wednesday night. This club is updated and clean but in an awkward locale on grubby maple underneath a portion of raised freeway.
There was a full room in the back and all of the sudden some drag queen came on stage and knocked it out of the park.
«That’s Candy Cayne. What Ru Paul is to drag queens, Candis Cayne is to trannies.», my bestie MTF instructed.
Damn she looked good. While talking I remembered this great little article about her in the New York Times, dancing on the streets during an act. She had good moves. Later I found she had the first tranny role on a tv show, Dirty Sexy Money.
If you didn’t know, Dallas has a good sized tranny scene.
Perhaps random and off the beaten path, but it was quit the good time last night.
