Avoid it on weekends, when it’s chaotic, but this is a great place for fresh tortillas and other Mexican baked good, inexpensive produce (though it can be hit or miss – we’ve got some feh fruit here) and various Mexican meats and specialties.
Carnival was bought out by Fiesta so presumably either this place or the Fiesta on Hampton and Ledbetter is doomed but hopefully one of them will last and stay decent, since we have so few supermarkets down here.
