We have been trying to get our ice maker fixed for the past 3 weeks! I call every day to check the status(after I am told each day they will call me back — BUTDONT!) and all I get is the run around. We have paid over $ 500 on trying to get our ice maker fixed and still nothing! Its like they have NO parts on site so they have to wait for things to get in to even do anything! I would not recommend this company to anyone!!!

I have years of experience with this repair service. They are outstanding in every way. Prompt, knowledgable, tidy, and professional. I have a 20-year old Sub-Zero that they have kept in excellent condition. Would highly, highly recommend.

I called I think last week(cant remember the day) and got an appointment for today(April 10) to repair a Viking. I was told someone would call me in the morning to let me know what time. I called them at noon when I did not hear a word and was told I was mistaken that my appointment was for May 1st which is 3 weeks away! I told the girl that I was indeed told the appointment was for today April 10. I definitely would have remembered if it was for a month away when I scheduled it! She said that is not possible as we are booked solid for Viking techs for weeks. No apology, nothing! I spoke with the manager who just said he could not explain how that could happen and rambled on about how in demand and how good they were and how they had been in business for 57 years. Again, no I am sorry we made a mistake, I am sorry you wasted an entire day etc. Just plain old POOR Customer service. I have used them numerous times before and they fixed the problem but I would never call them again. Not because they made an error, or because they were so booked up but because they could not even admit a mistake was made an apologize for the inconvenience they caused.

I recently purchased another home that was a rental for 3 years. When I mention it was a rental that means nothing was taken care of for 36 months including all appliances. C&W did a great job of coming out and repairing several items including a Sub-Zero 601R and gave me a very honest opinion on my dishwasher being beyond repair. The tech was timely, responsive, friendly and did an awesome job. I usually don’t write reviews however I am writing this one since I saw they only had 1 star on Unilocal. I give them 5 stars even though they are a little pricey due to the convenience and ease of using their service. FYI– from the other review, C&W doesn’t manufacture parts to my knowledge. Why don’t you do on the Al Gore(internet) and find what you need and get it done. You are a disgrace to writing reviews and should be banned from all public information sites. I find it a positive that they told you they can’t handle the job and refer you elsewhere.

My Kitchenaid dishwasher was repaired by Capital Distributors own repairmen, with no problem, no threats of liability, and in a very professional manner. I highly recommend this company to everyone looking for long lasting appliances and want excellent customer service! As for C&W, I left the owner a message, being the only way he was now posted here on Unilocal, and he never was man enough to call me back! If you want idiots working on your appliances, then use C&W. I personally would not trust them, as my exact suggestion to just put a plug on the dishwasher and plug it in with the disposal was rebutted as impossible and not proper by them. This is exactly what Capital did to solve the problem, as the wire had only come loose during use, causing a short, which burned a few connector wires, and Capital did a beautiful, time efficient, and professional job. All of these qualities are lacking in dealing with C&W! Consider yourself warned about this horrible repair company!
