Burns Debra MD

I adore Dr Burns. She has been a wonderful pediatrician to my two boys since birth. She is sweet and warm, my boys love her and I love her for that. She takes time to visit with them which is part of her thoroughness. She is very thorough and always mentions things to think about in the future, like ‘they are close to the age when…’ and has given me helpful tips and made me think of things ahead of time that I wouldn’t have thought of. She makes note of things to think about for coming seasons, like sunscreen or cold season. But she is also mellow and practical, not rushing to prescribe or cause anxiousness about any little things.
The nurses and all the staff in the Clinical Pediatric office are great. They have tons of doctors so if yours is not available you can see another, though this has only happened to me on one drop-​in, we’ve always seen Dr Burns otherwise. They have evening and weekend hours. Thus far we’ve never had a long wait. Even when wee dropped in due to illness we’ve always been seen quickly. I’m sure they have crazy days but so far I’ve had nothing but good experiences there.
